* ATTEND SITE SHOWROUND WHEN REQUIRED;

* IT SAVY ESPECIALLY WITH MICROSOFT WORDS, EXCEL AND PPT;

* HANDS ON IN PROVIDING TRAINING ESPECIALLY TO NEW WORKERS;

* IMPLEMENTATION OF SITE SAFETY IN ACCORDANCE TO MOM REGULATIONS;

* IDENTIFY WORKERS STRENGTH AND RECOMMEND FOR UPGRADING FOR DESERVING ONES;

* SUMBISSION N MONITOR OF MONTHLY PROGRESS PAYMENT.

Role Purpose

The Construction Quality Data Clerk is assigned to Construction Yard, reports to Construction Quality Manager and is responsible for:

• Supporting and liaising with Construction Quality Manager for Quality KPI and tracking CQ documentation readiness,
• Database management (input, analysis and output) related to project CQ data,
• Contribute to the Construction Quality Department software developments,
• Coordinate project final documentation completion.

Education, Experience and Certification

• University degree or technical college diploma in Engineering or Data Analysis.
• Certification of auditor is beneficial while not mandatory.

Functional Competencies

• Experience in data analysis, with particular emphasis on database and deliverables, preferably with a Quality Control background but not mandatory,
• Strong knowledge in Excel and Power BI
• Experience in PIMS, Go-Tech, Hexagon, SQL Server, Access, VB.Net and C/C++ will be a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Description & Requirements

• Once a job has been accepted by the company, the production manager sets up the job ready for construction. This will include writing up material lists for every item, negotiating prices with subcontractors and writing up work orders, and completing the Spec/Req folder
• Prior to the start of work, the production manager will meet with the sub-contractor assigned to the project and debug the job, ensuring that all specifications and job conditions have been reviewed
• Prior to the start of work, the production manager and the sub-contractor will meet with the salesperson and customers in a pre-construction conference where all details and potential problems will be ironed out and all decisions made by the customer. On smaller, simpler projects, it may not be necessary for the production manager to attend.
• The production manager is responsible for ensuring that communication between the customer and the sub-contractor is being maintained.
• The production manager will ensure that routine change orders are estimated, written up and signed by the customer and the sub-contractor. When change orders involve more substantial work than is typically handled by the sub-contractor, the production manager will coordinate with the sales department on pricing and selling of change orders.
• The production manager maintains an adequate work force of sub-contractors to meet the needs of the company.
• The production manager is responsible for all company vehicles, tools and equipment, including their maintenance and in good operating condition.
• Prior to the completion of the job, the sub-contractor, at the direction of the production manager, meets with the customer(s) and salesperson to prepare a quality control pre-completion punch list. This will be signed by the customer(s) and, when completed, the final check will be collected. The production manager will implement and supervise incentive programs for lead carpenters to maximize performance.
• The production manager approves all requests for payments to sub-contractors.
• The production manager, together with the sub-contractor, goes over final plans and specifications to ensure that there are no problems in filing and obtaining building permits, and coordinates all necessary inspections during the course of the job.
• The production manager is responsible for recruiting, negotiating and developing a working relationship with a sub-contractor in every trade. This includes developing a unit cost for every standard task
• Knowledgeable about residential and commercial construction and the processes involved
• Strong communication and management skills of employees
• Skilled in Buildertrend and Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills
• Capable of dealing with conflict productively

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on construction experience, preferably on residential remodels
• Minimum 2 years experience as a direct supervisor hiring employees and conducting performance reviews
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
