• Lead and oversee the team responsible for establishing supplier agreements, considering sales and operational requirements.
• Provide the Asia Pacific regional organization with a comprehensive portfolio of service providers offering sea freight and intermodal services.
• Conduct research on market developments, suppliers used by competitors, and market rates, and take action based on findings.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with existing and new suppliers at various levels within the assigned area.
• Collaborate closely with various parties (suppliers, other offices, forwarders, and agents) in rate offers and negotiations.
• Organize and maintain supplier information, rates, and surcharges within our Internal Vendor System.
• Monitor and manage the expiration of various rates in the Vendor System.
• Execute and oversee all rate negotiations with suppliers in the designated area.
• Identify opportunities to optimize the supplier portfolio.
• Manage, support, and facilitate the regional procurement team in their daily activities.
• Assist the superior with additional procurement duties as required.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in procurement in Logistics Business
• Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related discipline

Our client is a global MNC in Industrial Waste Management industry. They are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.

Duties Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor:

• Collaborate with the commissioning team to inspect, test, and repair equipment as needed.
• Support maintenance work planning and scheduling alongside the engineer.
• Assign and track individual tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
• Maintain adequate inventory of tools, supplies, and parts for effective equipment repairs.
• Perform mechanical fitting tasks, including alignment, grinding and cutting.
• Servicing, repairing, and overhauling equipment such as pumps and blowers when required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Min 3 - 5 years’ maintenance experience in similar industries such as Water Treament, Chemical and Oil & Gas

Job Description:

• Assist in the management of daily operations
• Provide good communications in sales to customers
• Help, drive, motivate, and encourage retail sales staff to achieve sales targets
• Assist Store-in-charge in compiling monthly report.
• Assist Store-in-charge in completing and submitting documents in accordance to deadlines/instructions.
• Training new staff members and scheduling shifts.
• Ensuring overall cleanliness of outlet
• Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
• Other ad-hoc tasks as delegated by the company
• Ensure that the store is in good condition i.e. shelves are replenished, fixtures are clean, etc.
• Ensure all POS/VM materials and other collaterals being displayed at the shop floor are up-to date and displayed according to a standard visual merchandising standards
• To investigate on any stock variances
• Ensure team members follow the company policies and procedures
• To train retail associates on customer service and product knowledge

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in Retail
• Have good working commitment
• Possess good interpersonal skills
• Self motivated individual to achieve sales target
• Minimum Diploma Level or above
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
