Responsibilities

• Manage the project site by overseeing the day-to-day activities related to the construction of the project as designated by Project Manager
• Liaise with consultant for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Conduct inspection and checks on work performed by subcontractors
• Assist in the planning and sequencing of the construction operations
• Prepare project-related reports and method statement for submission

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer, or recognised Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the Engineer, and at least 3 years of experience in the construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experiences in Engineering and construction industry
• Experience with LTA Project is an advantage, work location nearby Boon Lay MRT.

Responsibilities

• Find prospects and leads, and understand our service offerings;
• Provide quality customer service to customers, and perform service recovery when needed;
• Understand the needs, and explain how we can align with their needs;
• Facilitate the selection & interview of Migrant Domestic Workers;
• Administrative and training duties in connection with the placement of Migrant Domestic Workers;
• Ensure that all the necessary documents are processed with the Ministry of Manpower;
• Travel to customers' location to follow up on leads;
• Any other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (CEI) is a distinct advantage;
• Applicants without CEI may also apply; Applicant without CEI must be comfortable with taking the course + exam
• Minimally O-Levels;
• At least 2 years' working experience in customer service field;
• Team player and able to work independently;
• Good time management skills;
• Great interpersonal and communication skills;
• Willing to work on Weekends / Public Holidays (off days based on duty roster).

Job Responsibilities:

• Will be assigned to a project to provide technical support and department relevant responsibilities.
• Assisting C&S lead/technical manager & in charge for all civil / structural engineering matters being tasked
• Attending and being proactive in design coordination meeting with consultants / client.
• Preparing and reviewing of shop drawings / materials / MOS
• Ensure drawing registry is maintained and latest drawings / BIM models are available for all parties involved (site staff, CTD, suppliers and subcontractors).
• Ensure transmittal forms / emails are issued for latest drawings / BIM models when issued to CTD, suppliers and subcontractors.
• To study & review drawings / specifications in identifying discrepancies and issue queries to consultants accordingly via RFI
• Resolve technical issues on drawings and liaise closely with Consultants, all trades and authorities.
• Ensure BIM team update the drawings / BIM Model with the latest information available timely.
• Upkeep all submission, response for the submission and approval. Monitor the status of the submission and pursue response from the relevant parties once the response is due.
• Prepare as-built drawings / BIM Model and compile O&M Manual for submission.
• Attending VDC for civil / structural related matters. Cross check BIM model with contract drawings.
• To ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and PE design.
• To ensure material testing are carried out in timely manner and as per the specifications.
• To identify and resolve any potential site issues at the work site from technical aspect
• Attending sub-con meetings and technical meetings for structural related matters; prepare and circulate meeting minutes in a timely manner.
• Ensure all structural submissions (as-built, ST COS etc) are done prior to TOP application.
• Work with senior, PM and Site Manager in planning and executing temporary works.
• Preparing as-built drawings and submission of O&M.
• Assisting senior for structural matters related to CONQUAS assessments / submissions.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil / Structural or a related discipline
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for Structural engineer & 6 years of relevant experience for Senior engineer
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and proficiency in BIM.
• Understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
• Knowledge of authority submission requirement
• Able to communicate with consultants, client, authority/government agencies and site supervisors.

• Mentoring the progress and utilities team involved in the variety of LTA/MRT project.

• Develop designs of wet & dry utilities, utilities diversion schemes according to different standards and requirements.

• Propose circuit and line on each utility agency.

• Management of NCE and trial trench works for locating existing utility.

• Coordinate with authorities, consultants, sub-contractors and project site operation team to facilitate installation works and progress on site.

• Responsible for managing all aspect of utilities coordination works planning and technical co-ordination of all services installation work scheduling for LTA/MRT Project.

• Manage & monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with authority requirements to get an approval for water, drainage and other major utilities diversion.

The Site Manager duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Planning and ensure correct work sequences and procedures for daily site operations, including job site access;
• Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of the project;
• Leading and managing of workers and sub-contractors on site;
• Responsible for machinery and materials planning and deployment on site;
• Ensure all site works are done according to specifications, on schedule and within budget;
• Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from workplace and/or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities;
• Take reasonably practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at the workplace;
• Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site;
• Participating in conducting risk assessment (RA);
• Ensure briefing/re-briefing of RA to workers/sub-contractors by supervisor;
• Implement necessary control measure to mitigate the unsafe work and to prevent recurrence;
• Any other duties assigned by the Departmental Manager.

• To review, conduct incident / accident investigation and provide recommendations for countermeasures and to prevent recurrence of accident
• To coordinate of daily toolbox meeting and upkeep the records
• To conduct daily safety inspection and other type of safety inspection as required at work site or premises
• To coordinate the immediate rectification of unsafe conditions and correct any safety malpractices on site or premises
• Monitor and oversee the enforcement of In-house Rule and Regulation and ensure safe work practices on site or premises
• Coordinate and conduct the safety induction course to all site staffs or staffs at premises
• Submission of Quarterly EHS performance & 6-monthly review of Risk Assessment
• Ensure and to carry out duties in accordance to WSH Act & Integrated Management System
• Assist WSHO to establish, update, maintain, and implement the Safety and Health Management System
• To assist WSHO for all safety promotional activities, safety audits, safety meetings and execution of safety programmes

Requirements:

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Level B or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Own transport of Class 3 License for site or premises would be advantageous
