The Civil Engineer is responsible for supervising structural projects. They ensure each project is feasible by analyzing local and environmental impacts and making sure that they can be completed on time within the budget restrictions. Other duties and responsibilities may include:

• Considering budget, regulations and environmental hazards during risk-analysis stage
• Preparing material, equipment and labor cost estimates and confirming costs are within the budget
• Forecasting design and construction timeline
• Completing and submitting all permit applications to the appropriate agencies and ensuring projects are compliant throughout the design and construction stages
• Overseeing soil testing to establish soil strength and building feasibility

• Planning, managing and coordinating construction activities
• Supervising and coordinating the work of construction workers
• Coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, and other outside parties to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget
• Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility is to create BIM content and production documents for the purpose of delivering a BIM assisted project.
• Proficient with C&S/ Archi / M&E 3D Models
• Produce BIM model deliverables for design, documentation and fabrication purpose
• Familiar with BIM documentations and shop drawings directly from the models
• Interpret engineering drawings and updates of Consultant’s RFI to reflect the design intent
• Liaise with the team for production of shop drawings
• Creation of 2D families
• Ensure that BIM models are delivered with professionalism (Quality, due diligence and timeliness)

Requirements

• Higher Nitec Architectural Technology or Structural Engineering/ Diploma in Engineering or BIM
• Proven track record with at least 2 years full experiences with BIM, preferably from A1 Main Contractor or Consultants
• Must be proficient in Revit, Navisworks, Auto Cad & MS Office
• Highly adaptable, flexible personality who embraces teamwork, but also enjoys working independently
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Experience with Infrastructure Projects will be an added advantage

Performing their duties provide health and safety training courses for employees to educate them on necessary safety procedures.

Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify work areas that pose threats to life and property

Carry out investigations on incidents, complaints, and recurrent health cases to identify and provide solutions to workplace situations.

Develop and implement internal health and safety policies/strategies necessary for optimized work processes.

Inspect work machinery and equipment to ensure correct and safe installation.

Maintain accurate records of incidents and inspection findings in order to prepare reports useful in taking strategic safety decisions. They prepare and mount safety signs at appropriate locations to indicate potential hazard.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of diaphragm wall construction projects.
• Supervise the design, development, and approval of construction plans and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, environmental, and legal regulations on-site.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
• Oversee project budgets, including cost control, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Prepare regular reports on project status, including scheduling, financial performance, and risk management.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in construction project management, particularly in diaphragm wall construction.
• Proven experience managing large-scale civil or infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of local building regulations, environmental, and safety standards.
• Strong understanding of diaphragm wall construction methods and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
