Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work
• To supervise the work of sub-contractors and in-house workers
• To work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedule
• Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings
• Ensure that manpower is effectively deployed to deliver the materials timely
• To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers
• Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship
• Responsible for attendance to daily site coordination meeting with sub-contractors
• Attend the daily tool box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly
• Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work
• Identify, rectification and handling over of defects after completion.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Others or equivalent.
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good technical knowledge in current construction technologies
• Good understanding of general construction methods in building and structural details (working drawings)
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Act as the technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives;
• Ensure all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
• Oversee the selection and requisition of materials;
• Liaise with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project;
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors;
• Plan the work and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
• Oversee quality control, health, and safety matters on site;
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Requirement:

• Engineering background with at least 2 years of construction site experience;
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing;
• Knowledge of project planning and management procedures, practices, and techniques.

Location: Six Avenue

Work Hours: 8.30am-6pm, 100% office

• Manage the financial and statutory accounting for entity assigned.

• Prepare monthly financial reports, such as managing asset accounting, creating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating year-end financial reports.\

• Prepare WIP and provide recommendation on project profitability and cost optimisation.

• Compute key financial indicators and provide trend analysis of financials.

• Involve in the preparation of group budgets and forecasts.

• Liaise with internal and external auditors for filing on time.

• Handle tax matters including the quarterly GST filing and corporate tax.

• Ad-hoc duties assigned and this may include review of policies and procedure.

• Proficient in SAP
• Prior work experience from construction industry, handles work in progress accounting (like on going project accounting)

• Identifying and resolving design, specifications, construction methodology, sequencing and maintenance issues, balancing contractual obligations, statutory requirements, site progress and product workmanship

Requirements

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10-year experience in the construction industry
• Candidate with LTA project experience will be highly preferred.
• Proficient in technical knowledge of construction and material, familiar with rules and regulations of the relevant authorities.
