Responsibilities:

• Regular liaisons with clients and families to following up on pending assistance – Medifund, Household Means Testing (Subvention) and other funding schemes, etc.

As a Social Worker at Kids In Play, you are expected to provide social work services and therapeutic interventions to children, their care-givers and incarcerated parents. Casework Management:

• Register and orientate new families through the intake process, and provide information and referral services.

We run a drop-in centre to provide young people in the community with a safe and conducive place to hang out. Through our youth mental health programmes we reach out to youth in the community as well as at risk youth in residential care. RESPONSIBILITIES

About the job

The Youth Worker (YW) will be responsible for working closely with key stakeholders to plan, organise and implement these programmes which will involve managing volunteers, engaging youth from the community.

You will need to conduct needs and outcome assessments to measure and enhance programme effectiveness and ensure that our programmes are run well.

Other than these programmes, the YW will anchor the running of the drop in centre, including engaging and mentoring children and youth, organising or conducting activities, working with volunteers and partners and conducting youth outreach.

Roles & Responsibilities
