RESPONSIBILITIES

MWS Girls’ Residence is a residential home, housing vulnerable children and youths referred by the Ministry of Social and Family Development or other Social Service Organisations. We aim to create transformation and positive changes in behaviour through a holistic and therapeutic framework.

The Youth Care Worker will be working with female residents, between the age 15 to 21, (in an institutional facility). You will be part of the Operations team and are required to work in shifts.

In this position, your responsibilities would include the following:

· Oversee the residents on a daily basis; manage welfare, discipline, and safety within the institution

· Able to establish appropriate and guiding relationships with residents and be their good role models

A Senior Social Worker provides care, support, and psychosocial services to students and their families, facilitating access to financial assistance in collaboration with various allied professionals. This involves managing interventions, community development work, and programs aimed at uplifting the professional practice of Social Work.

You will serve the needs of students and families across the different sectors within the Canossian Village and the wider community. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, school staff, families, and relevant agencies to provide timely care and ongoing support. Education and Experience
