• Ensure kitchen electrical and commercial appliances are monitored and maintained regularly.
• Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy.
• Remedy any problems or defect.
• Oversee and handle crisis management within the kitchen.
• Maintain kitchen inventory records of all dry and wet rations.
• Select and purchase/order appropriate kitchen appliances, utensils and cutleries.
• Plan orders of ingredients according to identified shortages.
• Ensure proper purchasing/ordering, receiving and food storage stands in the kitchen.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of culinary experience.
• Experience in managing all kitchen operations.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Duties:

• Assist with the Reception desk as required and other associated tasks, including directing incoming calls and visitor arrival/departure
• Using the in-house database and other systems effectively to ensure maximum efficiency
• Ability to work flexibly in a busy environment with an established team and processes
• Organising couriers
• Maintain filing system
• Prepare mail
• Arrange correspondence for overseas deliveries

Job Requirements:

• Relevant experience within an office environment would be advantageous
• Highly motivated and organized individual with a flexible approach to work
• Detail-oriented and ability to work independently
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work or safety
• Able to work on Saturdays as of when required
