Job Summary:

As a Building Construction Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance throughout the lifecycle of building construction projects. Your role will involve collaborating with project managers, contractors, architects, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Analysis & Planning:
  Evaluate the technical and financial feasibility of building construction projects. Assist in creating detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Consulting & Advisory:
  Provide expert advice on building materials, construction methods, sustainability practices, and cost-effective solutions.
• Compliance & Regulations:
  Ensure all construction activities adhere to local, state, and federal building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
• Quality Assurance:
  Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with project specifications.
• Risk Management:
  Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that could impact project timelines or budgets.
• Coordination & Communication:
  Act as a liaison between clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and clear communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management,Mechanical & Industrial or related field.
• Proven experience in building construction, project management, or consultancy minimum 2 years.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and best practices in construction.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to Work Own Driving through multiple site location and communicate with clients.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certification (e.g., PMP, LEED, or similar) is a plus.

1. In-charge of Planning site work schedule, perform to handle site safety control, ordering and calculate building materials in RC structure work, able to liaise with main-contractor if site required ordering custom-made materials.

2. Perform to manage stock check by monthly.

3. Direct report to management on all matters.

4. Calculate & accumulate time card and list down dayworks.

5. Able in Construction site experience specialising in Structure Work and Hardworking and able to work independent.

6. Able to view Plan floor drawing to manage building construction.

7. Able to teamwork and kindness to work with other workers.

8. Must have in RC Structure work Experience at least 5 years.

9. able has demonstrated strong leadership abilities, supervising site workers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct construction projects for piling works and structural steelwork
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and attend site meetings
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations

Requirements and skills

Job Description:

1. Assist and prepare Monthly Progress Claim to Client.

2. Assist and prepare Monthly Progress Payments of Sub-contractors.

3. Assist and prepare Request for Quotations for various work requirements.

4. Assist for evaluation and comparison for the received quotations.

5. Assist and prepare for Subcontract Agreement, Work Order and Purchase Order.

6. Assist and handle variation orders/claims to Client and of Sub-contractors.

• Develop strong contractual frameworks to manage risks effectively and align with the organization’s goals.
• Lead the preparation of detailed project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to ensure project profitability.
• Monitor and control project costs by conducting cost analysis, cost studies, and variance reporting.
• Implement value engineering strategies to maximize the project’s performance while reducing costs.
• Ensure timely completion of final accounts and reconciliation of project finances.

Job Requirements :

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, or commercial roles.
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and a systematic approach to work
• Excellent written, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze contractual and legal issues and provide solutions using appropriate problem-solving techniques
• Proficient and competent in MS Office applications, particularly in Excel.
• 5.25 days work week
• Willing to work on Construction Site
• Extensive experience managing large-scale construction projects (e.g., infrastructure, MRT projects, and high-rise developments ) will be advantageous.
