• Good knowledge in Building Construction Works, Singapore Contracts Law and regulations will be an added advantage.

Responsibility

1. To carry out daily checks of the assigned vehicle to ensure safe lifting operations at all time
2. Being able to start on short notice will be a bonus.
3. Lifting of precast products or materials on sites.
4. Monitoring the load weights and stability of the crane.
5. Responsible for basic housekeeping and maintenance of tower crane.
6. Complies with all and ensures compliance of all safety, health, environmental and other company policies, procedures and requirements.
7. Inspecting the machinery before and after use.
8. Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Project Manager as and when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Complete secondary school or higher education level.
2. Obtain a Class 5 driving licence.
3. Complete a relevant crane operator course.
4. Be able to communicate with your team.

• Reports to Construction Manager
• Ensure the quality of all construction work performed on site are in accordance with the company's QAQC requirement
• Visit project sites, arrange and conduct QAQC inspections
• Lead project teams in the preparation of project specific CONQUAS/Quality Management assessment by BCA with specific contract requirements
• Ensure workmanship, procedures and method statements are in accordance to specified standards
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements & proper sequence of work and in accordance to BCA’s good industry practice
• Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained.
• Prepare QA/QC Plan, inspection & test plans/check list for site activities Review inspection and testing reports
• Issue NCRs, propose corrective action in a timely and effective manner
• Oversee delivery inspection of project materials
• Review, approve and maintain QAQC related documentation
• Other duties as assigned and able to work with minimum supervision

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Architectural or Civil / Structural Engineering
• At least 10 years of relevant site project experience in QA/QC roles for construction projects
• Familiar with Singapore Codes and Practices
• Experience with CONQUAS
• Experience with Constructability Score
• Experience with Green Mark Certification
• Able to liaise with workers/Clients, Consultant, Main Con colleagues, subcon and suppliers on QA/QC works and protocols at site
