The Social Worker, under the supervision of the Head of Department (Allied Professionals), is a member of the school’s AP Department. He or she works via an inter-disciplinary model with fellow allied professionals, teaching staff and parents or caregivers, and is responsible in providing support services and intervention to benefit students and their families, when difficulties exist and they interfere with the students obtaining maximum educational benefits. Responsibilities

• Provide financial assistance services to needy students in accordance with the school’s financial assistance scheme policies.

· To ensure that all monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports, budgets, operating forecasts and other information required by UEL are accurately complied and submitted within specified time limits, identifying variances and drafting variance explanation to the management discussion.

· To ensure hotels’ general ledgers are maintained, reflecting the current financial status and profit & loss position of the hotels, in an orderly and professional manner.

· TO ensure all postings to the hotel’s general ledgers supported by properly authorized and documented journal vouchers.

· To review all balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliation statements and control accounts reconciliation of each month end closing after updated by the Accounts Assistant latest on every 20th of the following month.

· To co-ordinate all accounting sections, making enquiries about the nature of transactions and system of control, cross checking and journalizing monthly transaction summaries for posting.

· To set guideline and deadlines for each accounting staff under his supervision in order to ensure timely financial reporting.

· To assist Accountant to prepare yearly operating and capex budgets. To provide operating and capex budgeting reports and monitor them.

Requirements :

• Relevant Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Architecture or related field, National Construction Trade Certificate
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in architectural works from Construction/ Building/ Engineering industry
• Prior experiences in Condo projects will be an added advantage

This role will assume a blend of administrative tasks, financial and investment analysis, feasibility studies, property management support, and strategy implementation.

1. Key Responsibilities: Property Portfolio Management:

o Assist in managing a portfolio of properties (residential/commercial/industrial).

o Monitor the performance of assets and identify asset enhancement initiatives.

o Support in maintaining accurate property records, including lease agreements, property inspections, and

maintenance schedules.

2. Financial Management and Reporting:

o Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, related to property assets.

o Analyze financial performance, including income, expenses, and return on investment (ROI) metrics.

o Coordinate with finance teams to ensure timely and accurate rent collections, payment processing, and financial reconciliations.

3. Tenant Relations:

4. Leasing and Marketing:

6. Risk Management and Compliance:

o Ensure all properties are in compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.

7. Administrative Support:
