Job Requirement

• O Level or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

• Preparing surfaces: Cleaning, leveling, and smoothing surfaces before installing tile
• Measuring and marking: Measuring and marking the surface to be tiled
• Applying adhesive: Mixing, applying, and spreading mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives
• Setting tiles: Setting tiles in position and applying pressure to affix them to the base
• Aligning tiles: Using levels, squares, and straightedges to align and straighten tiles
• Cutting and fitting tiles: Using hand and power cutting tools to cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
• Grouting: Packing grout into joints between tiles and removing excess grout
• Installing tile strips: Installing tile strips
• Laying mosaic tiles: Laying and setting mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
• Removing and replacing tiles: Removing and replacing cracked or damaged tiles

The Civil Engineer is responsible for supervising structural projects. They ensure each project is feasible by analyzing local and environmental impacts and making sure that they can be completed on time within the budget restrictions. Other duties and responsibilities may include:

• Considering budget, regulations and environmental hazards during risk-analysis stage
• Preparing material, equipment and labor cost estimates and confirming costs are within the budget
• Forecasting design and construction timeline
• Completing and submitting all permit applications to the appropriate agencies and ensuring projects are compliant throughout the design and construction stages
• Overseeing soil testing to establish soil strength and building feasibility

• Processing payments and preparing cheques
• Supporting Accountant in data entry and information gathering for report purposes
• Record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Process and verify invoices, match them with purchase orders and delivery receipts, and ensure timely payment to vendors
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and verifying supporting documentation
