The ideal candidate will identify and pursue new business opportunities related to battery cells for electric vehicles (EV), as well as battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects.

This role requires a deep understanding of the Indian automotive landscape and proven experience in engaging with Indian counterparts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research on the EV and battery energy storage sectors, including two- and three-wheelers, and grid-scale projects.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders like HQ, OEMs, distributors, and JV partners.
• Lead proposals, negotiations, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams to meet market needs.
• Represent the company at industry events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in business/engineering (MBA preferred), 5+ years in BD or sales, understanding of Indian automotive industry, strong communication and negotiation skills.
• This person will required to travel to India every quartely.
