Visa is looking for a Compliance Manager based in Singapore to be part of Currencycloud’s Asia Pacific (APAC) Compliance and Regulatory team. What a Compliance Manager does at Visa:

Based in Singapore, this position will support the Currencycloud APAC Head of Compliance and Regulatory who is also the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) of Visa’s regulated entity as a Major Payments Institution (MPI) in Singapore, covering AML/CFT and Sanctions compliance matters. This position will be reporting to the Currencycloud APAC Head of Compliance and Regulatory based in Singapore and is a newly created position as part of Visa’s expansion plans within the APAC region.

The core responsibilities for this role are as follows:

·       Support Singapore MLRO in the development and maintenance of robust AML/CFT and Sanctions frameworks which are in line with the Singapore’s Payment Services Act (PSA) and the relevant subsidiary legislations issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as well as Visa’s Global Compliance and other International AML/CFT and Sanctions standards. This SEA-RHQ Digital Manager will be responsible for overseeing the information technology operations within ASEAN and India. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, ensuring the security of systems, and providing strategic direction for technology initiatives. The Digital Manager will work closely with various departments to align IT strategies with business goals, enhance operational efficiency, and support the needs of subsidiaries.

Job Requirements

Policy Sharing and Updates:

• Communicate and disseminate the Company’s IT policies and rules to all target subsidiaries.
• Regularly review and update IT policies to ensure they reflect current best practices and compliance requirements.
• Global IT governance implementation.
• Support the Company in implementing global IT governance frameworks and measures.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to governance standards across all subsidiaries.

IT Solution Support:

• Assist target subsidiaries in the selection, development, and implementation of IT solutions that meet business needs.
• Provide guidance on best practices for IT operations and ensure alignment with the Company’s overall IT strategy.
• Assist in identifying potential solutions for any IT-related challenges and weaknesses experienced by the target subsidiaries.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess potential risks related to IT operations and governance, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of policy updates, governance measures, and IT solution implementations.
• Prepare regular report for management on the status of IT policy adherence and governance effectiveness across subsidiaries.

• Assisting Project Lead for on-time delivery, within budget and to the required quality standard
• Assisting the Project Lead for resourcing effectively and managing client stakeholder relationships within the wider team and affiliated teams/groups
• Functional role as process management lead to focus on the delivery of procurement RFP packages, analyze and present the delivery of work, which will require working with other consultants
• Fulfill the core Project Management responsibilities, including but not limited to:
• Maintain and quality assurance on project documentation
• Sending invite of agendas for every regular or ad-hoc meeting setup
• Assisting the Project Lead with risk management of reporting
• Monitoring and reporting progress and communicating clearly with both clients and key stakeholders
• Working with main vendors and sub-vendors
• Assisting the Project Lead to work and communicate directly with client for all projects deliverable
• Liaise and manage the co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work (third part suppliers, client internal stakeholders, partners, etc.) and ensure the smooth running of projects
• Adhere to the process guidelines set out b the department to manage all projects and responsibilities within the team
• Work with the Operations Lead, Business Lead & Project Lead to continuously improve the way we work, from beginning to end, thorough documentation, processes and industry-leading best practices
• Proactively identify risks and develop and communicate solutions to contingency plans and manage accordingly
• Manage change control and escalating issues to the Project Lead where necessary
• Provide regular status reports to the Project and/or Operation Lead
• Ensure that each step of the project is on-time and within budget as per project execution plan

Required Qualification, Skills and Attributes:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction, Architecture or related field. An advanced degree in Business/Finance/Construction Management or related field is strongly preferred.
• At least 04 years project and construction management experiences in the direct management of real estate projects of varying sizes, complexities and across multiple markets (retail, residential, commercial, industrial etc).
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, seeks to develop strong client relationships.
• Excellent customer service and analytical skills are necessary as is an attention to detail personality.
• Proficient in the various project delivery models (DBB, DB, GMP, CM, MC etc.) and be confident enough to deploy them on any given project where the pro’s and con’s warrant such an approach.

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:

• Assist the Section Head to supervise the front of the house and Club lounge operations.
• In the absence of higher management to make decisions regarding operational problems
• Coordinate and work closely with all departments regarding daily requirements in the Front Office operations.
• Ensure VIP/ Wedding rooms are ready before guests’ arrival.
• Ensure all traces are checked and resolved.
• Ensure the Airlines crews’ keycard is in order.
• To monitor for Travel Agent group arrival
• Ensure all check-in and out procedures are followed.
• Update team members with the latest information.
• Ensure all registration cards are accurate and filled up.
• Always maintain the best relations between management and guests.
• Ensure guests are always given prompt and efficient services by the team.
• Handle all guest complaints professionally, satisfying their needs and safeguarding the Hotel’s interest.
• Ensure all arrival and departure VIPs and Suite guests are taken care of such as rooms are ready with amenities and card, receive and escort guest to room.
• Monitor closely guest’s room folio high balance daily to prevent losses by the Hotel.
• Ensure proper records are maintained and valuable secured in the Front Office Safe Deposit Box
• Responsible for the setting up and updating of the Duty Manager’s Log Entry, Comm Entry and to report all unusual events to the higher management.
• Responsible for all emergency procedures and coordinate closely with the Security Department
• Responsible for all Master Keys and Emergency Key which are strictly for their use only pertaining to operation requirements.
• Liaise with the IT Department on any faults of the system at times of emergency.
• Ensure strict control of the operations of the computer systems and peripherals.
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.

Main responsibilities and tasks

1. Planning and determine the branch's business strategy in line with the Bank's goals and policies.

2. Oversee the opening all types of corporate accounts and services

3. Supervise the operation of credit transactions and consider loans within the credit limit set by the bank, including monitoring the use of the credit limit and managing the customer's portfolio to be in accordance with the loan contract and managing controls to be in accordance with the Bank's objectives and policies

4. Daily cash management, managing the branch's liquidity, including overseeing the analysis and planning of investments in financial instruments.

5. Supervise the operation of import-export transactions, including a letter of guarantee and preparation of foreign business reports

6. Taking care of account coordination with the relevant accounting departments, including calculation of capital funds and expenses related to social welfare of local employees.

7. Building good relationships with existing customers. Exploring new customers for potential business opportunities in expanding the bank's business

8. Supervise the operations of the branch in accordance with the Bank's operating regulations and the regulations of the country, eg MAS.

9. Taking care of accounting, preparing contracts, reports, including coordination with the relevant accounting departments as well as computing taxes in order to submit various tax items within the specified period.

10. Managing risks within the branch being the Risk Owner together with the Head of other units (Risk Manager) in accordance with the bank's Risk Management Policy.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor's degree or above, with a preference for majors in Law, International Relations, Public Policy, or related fields.
2.At least 3 years of experience in the immigration industry, with prior experience in documentation or project management preferred.
3.Familiarity with various immigration programs (e.g., investment immigration, skilled migration, family reunification) and their procedures and policy requirements.
4.Strong proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English, with the ability to draft and review bilingual documents.
5.Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to efficiently manage client relationships and project teams.
6.Detail-oriented, strong logical thinking, and capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure while ensuring high-quality delivery.
