Job Purpose

Part of Customer Service team responsible for handling all types of Ownership & Nomination transactions including policy assignment, beneficiary nomination, vesting, and delivering them within service standards and ensuring compliance with the respective regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Assess and process applications for absolute and collateral assignment, beneficiary nomination and vesting within service, compliance and regulatory standards.
• Handle investigation of complex cases from policyholders and financial representatives on assignments and nomination of beneficiary.
• Work collaboratively with various departments, including Bancassurance, Claims, Legal, Group Risk Management on assignment, beneficiary nominations, FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliant Act) and CRS (Common Reporting Standard) matters. Note that FATCA and CRS forms are part of submission requirements for assignments and trust nominations.
• Provide strong support in handling enquiries from touchpoints, including policyholders and financial representatives on section cases and processes.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and defects.
• Review and provide continuous improvement to the section’s processes.
• Assist to document changes in workflows for the section.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Unit/Section Heads.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

• Handle requests for attending physician statements (APS) including billing and follow up on completion.
• Handle administrative matters relating to digital medical examination.

• Manage projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisors

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration / Banking and Finance
• Competency in PowerPoint and Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurately raising purchase requisitions (PRs) in SAP MM Purchasing upon receipt of approved memo and work order.

• Responsible for timely and accurately performing GRs (Goods Receipt) upon receipt of invoice and approval from authorized leads.

• Ensure that auditable records are kept for each PR raised.

• Assist in tracking and cross referencing of PRs and POs for investigative reasons.

• Assist in the reconciliation of PRs, POs, and project budgets.

• Adhere to the team’s PR raising process and escalate any breaches.

Skills/Requirement

• 2+ years in a similar role.

• Prior expertise at using SAP Material Management (MM) module would be a bonus.

• Ability to interact at a professional level.

• Basic understanding of book-keeping and accounting

• Attention to detail.

• Proficient at Excel (Pivot tables, vlookups)

• Assist the HR team in the process of hiring workers
• Apply work permits for foreign workers (application, renewal, cancellation).
• Perform orientation for newly hired workers and maintain workers' records.
• Process of payroll for workers and submit tax clearance form IR21.

Requirements:

• Nitec and above
• At least 1 year of HR support experience.
• Familiar of any payroll software.

This role is involved in the full cycle of payroll processing such as salary calculation, performing payroll reconciliation, preparing payroll report. Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full spectrum of payroll processing and billing using Easypay and in-house payroll system
• Verify contractors’ daily attendance timing (TMS)
• Processing of payroll for contractors
• Ensure accuracy of payroll documents and reports
• Verify and process claims (e.g. overtime, medical) and allowances for contractors
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance on payroll and billing matters
• Monthly submission of CPF
• Filing of form IR21 (Tax Clearance) for foreigners and check IR8A for local candidates
• Process NS Make-Up Pay claim for contractors
• Application for refund on Government Paid Leaves
• Maintaining contractors’ leave records
• Preparing and sending invoices to client
• Ensure local statutory, tax, policy and internal compliance are fulfilled
• Other ad-hoc payroll and billing duties assigned

Profile Requirements

• Minimum Diploma holder, preferably in Accounts or Finance / CAT or LCCI Holder
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant Payroll experience
• Ability to handle high volume of requirements and tight deadlines
• Good knowledge of Employment Act and Payroll Processes
• Experience with payroll system such as Easypay will be an advantage
• IT savvy
• A team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong administrative and time management skills
