The Role

The core responsibilities involve the management of a comprehensive range of corporate secretarial functions for the organization, such as facilitating quarterly board meetings, minutes writing, servicing Annual General Meeting, recording the proceedings, updating statutory records, releasing SGX announcements, coordinating with various parties on producing the annual report, and working closely with corporate service providers, auditors, and lawyers.

Your Profile

You should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and an Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) qualification. You should have good knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act 1967 and SGX Listing Rules.

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:

• Participate in all sales activities in line with the sales and marketing plan to exceed hotel revenues and target.
• Acts as the main liaison person between clients/ planners, and the hotel operational departments, for all event & catering logistics from planning to execution to after-sales stages.
• Promote and sell all functions of the catering and events to achieve the optimum departmental revenue targets
• Procures new business for the hotel by establishing leads from internet, printed materials, relevant industry documents and follow ups. Establishes and continuously updates mailing lists/database
• Secures repeat business for the hotel by maintaining contacts with travel agencies, professional conference organizers / associations, destination management companies, commercial houses, government bodies, and corporate accounts, through personal sales calls, telephone contacts and written communications.
• Promotes the hotel as often as possible through entertaining, conducting site inspections, tour familiarizations & hotel presentations, etc. Organizes and attends major sales/ PR related functions, and/or trade shows.
• Analyses historical & other statistical information; and use this information when developing strategies, comparing industry practices vs. hotel’s practices. Keeps aware of trends, systems, practices for rates, package details, audio visual equipment, IT & communication systems, etc. through trade literature, hotel show and site visits.
• Creates and implements special programs / packages / promotions to achieve greater productivity through

- Increasing average rate per cover

- Increasing occupancy (Maximize Utilization of Function Space)

-Increasing business volume during non-peak periods

- Upselling and maximizing food and beverage banqueting sales, room rental, AV & miscellaneous revenue.

• Provide after-sales service and to ensure all guests’ feedback are brought to management’s attention and communicated with the respective departments necessary for proper handling. Ensure that all negative feedback are reviewed, investigated and follow-up action is initiated
• Attends & conducts event briefings, Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings, Pre-Con meetings, and any other meetings as needed to discuss event arrangements to ensure a seamless event execution
• Handles all administrative work and updating of files on the following Catering Sales matters
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management

• Handle assigned customer portfolios effectively.
• Secure a high level of customer satisfaction by establishing a good rapport and trust with the customer.
• Explore new business opportunities as per sales plan.
• Accountable in a regional role as a focal point for assigned account.

Requirements:

• Diploma and above
• At least 5 years of sales & marketing experience in semiconductor equipment.
• Good knowledge in Machine Vision Process
• Comfortable to travel extensively.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent networking and interpersonal skills.

The Customer Engagement Manager is responsible for owning the international franchisee relationship and recommending tactics and products to improve overall performance and profitability as it relates to a master franchisee’s technology profile. They are expected to build healthy relationships with international master franchisees, analyze, consult, educate, and propose solutions for technical implementations. The Manager will oversee a team of technical consults and be the main point of contact for all technical implementations and monitor any issues or concerns. Manage a Portfolio of International Master Franchisees and Consult on Technology Solutions
