Our client is a leading global tank storage company serving primarily the manufacturing and energy markets. They have facilities and terminals globally and are now looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead their maintenance team.

about the job

• Responsible for leading and managing the maintenance function in the terminal operations to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of asset reliability and integrity.
• Lead department in the overall installation, maintenance and repairs of all terminal assets, necessary for the continuity of operations and the safety of terminal personnel.
• Manage maintenance contractors and service providers
• Plan and manage the department's resources and budget to meet the company's objectives.
• Contribute to the development of annual and longer-term business plans, forecast performance against business key performance indicators, develop business case for new projects and estimate financial and resources required
• Manage department resources on supporting terminal or company on ad hoc projects and activities
• Monitor maintenance on site is carried out in accordance with safety, health, environment and loss preventive policies, rules, regulations and according to company’s standards.
• Drive relevant processes to ensure execution of projects and identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Lead maintenance engineers in project management of CAPEX projects or commercial inquiries
• Manage Sustaining and Service CAPEX projects.
• Provide leadership and manage people competencies and development

job requirement

• Diploma/Degree equivalent in engineering
• Minimum 10 years of relevant maintenance experience in oil terminal storage environment
• Knowledge of safety, health and environment practices
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
• Positive stakeholder management capabilities with strong communications skills
• Project Management skills
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia,Malay fluently due to the need to serve Bahasa Indonesia-speaking customers / stuffs who cannot speak english
• Able to be based permanently around Batam area (Mon to Fri)

Job Description:

• Collaborate with the Ministries and Agencies for capacity planning and capacity injection to ensure adequacy of community care services in Singapore.
• Develop comprehensive plans to strategically locate community care facilities across the island, and creatively utilising innovative space solutions to address land scarcity, ensuring optimal accessibility and service delivery for our senior population.
• Develop the framework to conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the suitability of locations for community care facilities.
• Analyse demographic data and community needs to inform the planning and assessment decisions.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to co-design and co-develop functional community care facilities that enhance the delivery of care services for the seniors.
• Write papers, reports, presentations to secure approvals from management and the Ministry.
• Manage budgets, key project milestones, and implementation plans to ensure timely delivery of community care facilities.
• Lead a small team of members and mentor the members to develop them to their fullest potential.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., urban planning, public administration, business administration, facility management, etc.).
• Proven track records in site planning and management, policy operationalisation, and project management, preferably within community care services or the public sector.
• Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in paper writing and making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in adapting to dynamic changes.
• Strong project management skills to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
