What a Marketing Manager does at Visa:

The person will be involved in building up the overall direction for marketing initiatives and be responsible for the day-to-day execution with cross functional teams, clients, vendors as well as partners.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Drive and support our clients’ (i.e. Banks, Fintechs, Merchants) payments marketing initiatives with Visa’s marketing advisory and solutions, working closely with the Accounts Leads to strategise and propose impactful and relevant marketing programs to drive business revenue for our clients, across both B2B and B2C programs.
• Lead day-to-day client engagements and management of Marketing Value Added Services (VAS) projects in close partnership with the respective Business Development and Account Leads. Oversee all administrative deliverables related to client marketing project management and VAS including but not limited to revenue tracking, marketing approvals, procurement processes, contract management and VIK process management in full compliance with Visa’s policy and process
• Day-to-day management and liaison with agencies, partners and internal stakeholders to implement and manage above initiatives as well as brand related marketing activities
• Work extensively with marketing teams in other markets as well as local country cross-functional teams (i.e. Sales teams, Products, Commercial Products) to ensure smooth launch and execution of marketing activations to support key business strategic initiatives
• Ensure timely executions and deliverables from agencies and vendors as well as proper documentation and paperwork across the whole project lifecycle.
• Open communication between partners and vendors to ensure that work is executed and implemented accurately.

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least (3) years in a supervisory or managerial HRM role

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is for SMU Academy (SMUA).
• Respond to emails from participants on post-enrolment enquiries, including payments, new intakes, LMS access, certificates, and course details.
• Handle the transfer or withdrawal of participants in the system and keep all relevant stakeholders updated.
• Use RapidSMS to inform participants of any last-minute course updates swiftly.
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of our course administration processes.
• Assist with the running of Academy courses, with flexible compensation for any after-hours work, typically 2 to 4 times a year.

• Degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with a high attention to detail.
• A proactive, customer-service oriented mindset.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and resourceful in navigating changes.
• A keen interest in process improvement and efficiency.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI for generating data dashboards is a plus.
• Experience in using Zendesk will be advantageous.

• Cards Portfolio Management
• Improvement of customer journey and optimizing of internal processes
• Managing Operations: Overseeing the entire card acquisition process from start to finish.
• Process Improvement: Collaborating with various teams (Credit Ops, Tech, Credit Policy, Risk Management) to enhance processes and policies.
• Automation: Streamlining and automating the card application and fulfillment processes.
• Customer Journey: Reviewing and gathering requirements to automate campaign fulfillment and cover all exception scenarios to reduce call volume.
• Customer Exception Management: Handling and resolving customer issues related to onboarding and credit card applications.
• Standardization and Efficiency: Standardizing internal processes and improving efficiency through report automation.
• Accuracy Checks: Ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of daily, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree and above
• Knowledge in Payments business, especially credit cards.
• Experience in a financial institute or in the payments industry is advantageous
