Job Title: Contract Staff Member – Program Lead/Manager – Biotech Leadership Program Development
Location: Singapore
Duration: 12 months (contract)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Biomedical Sciences Industry Partnership Office on a contract basis. The primary responsibility will be to lead the design, development, coordination, and implementation of a Biotech Leadership Program targeted at local biotech C-suites and executive members. This program is designed to cultivate leadership and strategic capabilities in the local biotech industry through masterclass series and networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Development and Coordination:
o Design, develop and manage a masterclass series covering critical leadership topics for driving company growth.
o Drive procurement and selection process to select a vendor to assist in the development of the series.
o Collaborate with government agencies, industry experts, and selected vendor(s) to develop content tailored to the needs of biotech C-suites.
o Act as the primary point of contact for the programme, ensuring clear communication of program objectives, schedules, and expectations.
2. Budget Management:
o Plan and manage the program’s budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and alignment with project requirements.
3. Risk Management and Problem Solving:
o Identify potential risks or challenges in program implementation and proactively develop solutions to address them.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation:
o Develop and maintain program implementation timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure the timely progress of objectives.
o Prepare reports and presentations to update stakeholders on program implementation progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience in the biotech industry or public sector, particularly with familiarity in biotech or healthcare, is a plus.
· Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience in coordinating programs or initiatives.
· Familiarity with research initiatives, leadership development, or collaborative projects in biotech or healthcare industry is a plus.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders and experts.
· A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and achieving goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of Singapore’s biotech industry landscape and its ecosystem.
· Experience designing and implementing professional development programs for company leaders.
