• Assist in setting up and cleaning up training stations and labs before and after sessions.
• Ensure the proper functioning and calibration of medical and surgical instruments.
• Collaborate with trainers, surgeons, and fellows to provide technical support during training activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the laboratory.
• Manage inventory of lab supplies, including ordering and restocking materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of lab activities, equipment usage, and maintenance schedules.
• Responsible for the AVA & IACUC inspection and making sure the training centre is accredited accordingly.

Qualifications

1. A diploma in biomedical science, life sciences, or a related field.
2. Experience in laboratory management or as a lab technician, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
3. Familiarity with surgical instruments, medical devices, or research equipment is an advantage.
4. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a laboratory environment.
