RESPONSIBILITIES

About the job

We are looking for a dynamic centre manager who is able to manage and grow KIP to fulfill its vision of helping children and families of incarcerated parents.

Collaboration with Prisons:

• Maintain close working relationship with prison authorities to ensure all of the Kids in Play (KIP) continue and develop.
• Explore any future requirements that the KIP need to meet and develop new programmes accordingly.

Community Integration:

• Maintain and build relationships with all relevant stakeholders (including any of the corps in Singapore) to ensure support for KIP and its clients.
• Provide avenues for networking with other community support groups where applicable.

Communication & Training:

• Provide support to all staff and volunteers involved in KIP projects through planned and structured activities.
• Conduct in-house training and broker relevant external training and capability development initiatives to equip staff and volunteers with essential skills required in participating in KIP programmes.

Fund Raising:

• Work closely with all funding parties to ensure continual financial support for KIP programmes.
• Develop other avenues of funding to maintain and develop KIP programmes where possible, including approaching institutional funders, monitoring and submission of applications to NCSS or other relevant agencies.

Managerial & Professional

• Working with Executive Director/CYG and aligning to TSA and CYG directions, provide strategic planning at a macro level for all programmes for KIP
• Manage and support your team so that they are able to give their best to the clients
• Manage reporting, submissions and any other administrative work
• Assumes the dual role of professional and spiritual leadership within the team and where appropriate, to demonstrate spiritual leadership in the community within the context of championing the cause of KIP.

Relevant degree with at least 3 years of experience in managing programmes.

Qualifications in Social Work and experience with the incarcerated or ex-incarcerated group is preferred.

Job Description

• Implement personal budget and performance targets.
• Be responsible for relationship maintaining, business development, financial planning and risk control with customers and interbank institutions.
• Be responsible for developing new customer pipelines and actively expanding institutional banking businesses.
• Provide consultancy and receive credit applications (including renewal, facility increase, facility alteration and change of credit terms and conditions for existing credit cases), be responsible for in-situ interview and filling the call memo as well as drafting the credit terms and conditions and producing credit review form and, where necessary, attending relevant review meetings to explain the credit cases in person.
• Be responsible for completing and inspecting the customer credit investigation work and relevant paperwork (including credit investigation report (including paperwork investigation, such as financial statement analysis, party of interest enquiry, Joint Credit Information Center enquiry and securities enquiry, and on site credit investigation), cross-reference appraisal report and other paperwork) produced by assistant relationship managers (ARM).
• Notify customers of the approval/rejection results of credit applications and oversee the guarantor-witnessing and contract signing processes thereafter or appoint an ARM to oversee the aforementioned matters.
• Track continuously the industrial updates, going concerns and business needs of customers.
• Set forth the terms and conditions of the approved credit facility and administer the follow-up management or other significant incident reporting and tracking.
• Supervise ARM on handling customers’ more-than-one-business-day due payment reminder and follow-up affairs (for due payment less than one business day, the reminder will be carried out by telephone call by the operation services clerk).
• Oversee or appoint an ARM to process collection matters and liaise with relevant departments.
• Oversee the paperwork preparation and process of the guarantor-witnessing, contract signing and account opening (preparation of contract and verification of contract content and version shall be done by credit administration personnel) or appoint an ARM to oversee the aforementioned.
• Process or authorize operation services clerks to process matters relating to interest rate / exchange rate.
• Conduct review and evaluate credit assets.
• Oversee other matters instructed by the Institutional Banking Division, branch manager or line manager.

Job Requirement

• Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Familiar with basic corporate banking products including trade, loans, capital markets and treasury in order to effectively support the business
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin as the role requires written and verbal communication in Traditional Chinese with Mandarin-speaking colleagues in Taiwan.

Responsibilities:

• Perform UAT testing for customer onboarding projects digital channels
• Analyze user requirements, user stories and enhancement requests.
• Create UAT and regression test plan
