Responsibilities

• Attend to enquiries and requests from phone calls/emails in a professional and prompt manner.
• Update complete and accurate information on customer interaction in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Ensure effective and timely follow-up as promised to customers.
• Alert management of issues and concerns that require escalation for complete resolution.
• Prepare effectively and accurately requests including but not limited to policy summary, premium paid, beneficiary information.
• Work closely with stakeholders on the service request requirements.
• Deliver service requests within stipulated service standards.
• Undertake projects or other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Preferably ’A’ Levels or Diploma holder with relevant working experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in written and conversational English. (Mother Tongue will be advantageous to support non-English speaking customers).
• Possess a pleasant and cheerful disposition.

• Participates in improvement initiatives and team building activities within customer service and across functional areas of core integration.

The SMU Urban Institute, launched in early 2024, is a university-level research institute dedicated to advancing an interdisciplinary research agenda. Work under supervision of PI (Principal Investigator) to create and operate a large-scale taxi/ride-hailing simulator in Singapore setting. The major responsibilities are:

• Refit an existing large-scale taxi/ride-hailing simulator using latest street topology.
• Process large datasets from LTA and Gojek to prepare for simulation calibration.
• Design an automated process to calibrate the simulation model, so that it is consistent with real-world data.

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or a related computing focused discipline is required.
• Previous research experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent coding ability and experience in Python or Java is essential.
• Coursework in data structures and algorithms, probability and statistics.
• Experience with geospatial data analytics is a big plus.
• The candidate should provide a sample of significant project on github/bitbucket.
