The Role

This role reports to Assistant Finance Manager and support the overall Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of monthly/quarterly/annual financial results.

• Be responsible and accountable for ensuring accuracy of accounting records, management reporting and statutory reports for standalone entities.
• Be responsible for full set of accounts (AP,AR and GL).
• Close the month end, including processing of month end journals and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

• Liaise closely with the Property Manager Finance Department to ensure operations are run smoothly.
• Liaise with both internal and external parties including tenants, suppliers, the group finance, investors, bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and regulators.
• Ensure that systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in providing training of accounting system to new staff within Finance and other departments.

Your Profile

• Candidate must possess at least a degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of working experience in similar position.
• Preferably has experience in Yardi, SAP or Oracle accounting system and Real Estate knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ability to build an automated test solution from scratch using Cypress, Cucumber, and Selenium

• Coordinate with application support (BA and developers) and other tester colleagues on creating the automation test suite

Review existing operations regularly to reduce costs and improve operational standards

Ensure disaster recovering and business continuity plans are implemented and maintained
Ensure escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures are implemented and in place
Assist in the development of guidelines and strategies to ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle’s and Client’s business conduct

HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGEMENTEnsure the provision of a safe working environment

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards

PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENTEnsure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget

Candidate SpecificationEXPERIENCEMin. 3-5 years’ experience in facilities, property management or related field with technical background
Has experience working in School environment
Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements
Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services
Has an understanding of basic technical aspects of property (ACMV, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system)
Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts
Strong budget management and financial analysis skills.
