1. Lead and guide the contracts department comprising of a team of Quantity Surveyors that oversees all contracts administration matters for all construction projects in the company.

2. Tender for new projects, liaison with client, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other members of the company’s professional team.

3. Preparation of tender estimates for securing new construction projects for the company.

4. Manage post tender queries and clarifications.

5. Communicate, collaborate in project meetings to provide contractual advice and represent the team externally whenever necessary.

6. Support project teams in administering sub-contracts including progress payments, variation orders and contractual matters.

7. Review, develop, and implement contract administration procedures, systems, and policies in consultation with Management.

8. Liaison with building professionals and client in relation to contractual matters.

9. Supervision of contractual claims such as progress payments, variation, etc.

10. Execution of subcontracts with subcontractors and suppliers.

11. Recommendation for award of subcontracts.

12. Advise and assist the Management and the Project in any and all commercial and contractual matters.

13. Drive innovation and continuous improvement by determining system improvements and implementing change.

Taxation Accountant/ Tax Specialist

Working Days: 5 Day A week
Working hours: 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm
Working Location: Pandan Road
Salary: $5000 - $7000
Company Transport will be provided when candidate choose 8:00am-5:00pm working hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall tax compliance matters including corporate income tax, withholding tax, indirect taxes, transfer pricing study and etc.
• Prepare/review the annual tax returns and ensure compliance to tax laws and regulations
• Prepare/review the monthly corporate tax provision and tax accounting reporting (ie. deferred tax computation)
• Conduct tax research and assist in identifying tax planning ideas and improvement opportunities
• Liaise with various competent authorities in respect of the tax related queries/issues & audits
• Advise and provide support as and when required on the tax compliance and implication
• Review and advise tax related contract clause including new project tendering, procurement contract and etc.
• Keep abreast on the latest development of new legislation and tax updates and advise for full compliance
• Other ad-hoc duties/tasks to be assigned as and when required.

Requirement:

• At least 5 years of experience in taxation, customs and finance
• Candidate shall have more than 5 years tax experience in commercial or professional firms
• Professional experience in taxation with audit/tax firms preferred
• Tax Consultancy background preferred
• A graduate of Business or Accounting is desirable
• Proficient in Excel
