Scope of work

Your Tasks

• Design and develop relevant pricing tools that support analysis and review of pricing, costing, operational process, and profit for selected customers.
• Analyse and deploy pricing strategies on RFQs and GSRT with maximization of tools capability.
• Lead the Commercial, other functions and other regional/ global teams on pricing systems, tools and reports for actions from SPA workshop and country participation request from Regional Pricing.
• Create effective business reports on compliance level of Key Compliance KPIs (available from Monthly Pricing Reports) with regular reviews/projects.
• Invent Pricing programs through tools such as RADAR, CARAT and STP for yield improvement and for price changes such as Ship to Profile/Ship to Commit exercise, Surcharge compliance exercise and new rates program.
• Devise innovative processes to make pricing offers more efficient through offer management system and country rating system(GRE), driving faster profitable growth for DHL's business forward.
• Anchor for continuous improvement through collaborative efforts of pricing, customer masterdata management and sales support processes.
• Execute pricing and yield improvement initiaitives such as GPI, Ship to Profile/Commit, SPA through data management and analysis.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a product and/ or service pricing role, or in a marketing or business analysis position will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of DHL pricing and costing methodologies and tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical capability including expertise in spreadsheet (MS Excel) and database (MS Access) program, Power BI and Tableau.
• Simulation and forecasting competence is preferred.

The MolyCop business currently has 12 manufacturing facilities located throughout Australasia, South and North America, Europe. The business supplies steel consumables, primarily grinding media to the Copper and Gold mineral processing sector. The business has revenues in excess of $1.4Billion and employs more than 1200 direct employees.

MolyCop’s raw material feedstock strategy incorporates a range of supply options including domestic sourcing, make own via our EAF steelmaking facilities located in Canada and importing ~800KT of bar and other traded products. The Singapore trading office is responsible for the sourcing and supply of our imported bar needs.

Role Purpose:

The role supports the Freight Manager, to ensure our imported bar feedstock needs as defined through our S&OP process, are delivered in full and on-time, as well as the most cost efficient and effective freight and logistics service that leverages our volume, demand planning, mill relationships and market insights.

Role Accountabilities:

1. Assist in negotiating and securing shipment, coordinating with ship owners, brokers, and other stakeholders.

2. Support Freight Manager in managing day-to-day operational, including post-fixture activities and documentation.

· Upkeep cargo readiness and delivery status for all contracts.

· Advising suppliers on vessels ETA and co-ordinate inspections schedule with our QA/QC department.

· Reviewing details on Charter-Party Bill of Lading.

· Weekly reporting to internal stakeholders on ongoing/upcoming shipment.

· Applying COO and co-ordinate CCIC survey application (Indonesia import).

· Submitting shipment advice to internal stakeholders with complete set of documents (BL, switch B/L, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, MTC, COO, Insurance Certificate etc.)

3. Assist in monitoring the shipping market and gather relevant data to assist in decision-making processes.

4. Update Open Order record and generate Open Order Summary report.

5. Provide analytical support by preparing reports on market trends, performance metrics, and charter party agreements.

6. Assist in resolving any claims or disputes that arise during the shipment.

7. Participate in meetings and industry events as required.

Requirements:

2. 5+ years in competitively sourcing logistics categories/ Supply chain management, ideally with shipping ex Asia to US/Europe/ Latin America experience.

5. Supplier Bills Processing:

• Receive and review bills from regular, term, and ad hoc suppliers.
• Verify bills in 3-way matching: Cross-referencing with purchase orders (PO), goods received notes (GRN)/ delivery orders, contract, and bills.
• Preparation of payment list with complete supporting documents.
• Monthly AP reconciliation with suppliers’ SOA.
• Communicate with vendors for month SOA matching and resolve payment-related queries.

6. Staff Claim Processing:

• Prepare staff claims with its supporting documents and check with the claim policies.
• Execute payments accurately with complete documents within established timelines.

• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing B2B Starhub customers in person and via telephone calls and emails. (Broadband/Mobile/IPTV/Other Starhub Services/recontract)
