JOB SUMMARY

The Cook will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing the Kitchen operations of the restaurant. This includes producing high-quality food and presentation to ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience. Reports to the Assistant Manager / Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Scope of Work

1. Operations

· Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking, ensuring the prepared food meets the required quality and quantity standards.

· Adhere strictly to all established standard operating procedures.

· Follow instructions and guidance provided by the Head Chef and Sous Chef in kitchen operations.

· Ensure total compliance with the recipe book.

· Complete all required mise en place.

· Assure proper care and maintenance of all food service equipment.

· Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in all kitchen areas.

· Comply with all food safety rules and health regulations.

2. Any other duties as assigned

Our restaurant actually Korean restaurant so must have a exprience this area. The Assdistant Head chef assists in managing daily operatios in the kitchen.

He/ She overseas and manages stock leverls as well as supervises kitchen staff during shift.

He/She oversees the food preparation process.

He/ She ensure that appropriate standards and hygiene are adhered to.

Sous chefs act as assiatants to the master chef and work under their direction.Their responsibility may iclude monitoring the kitchen inventory, assiging staff schedules, and overseeing cleanliness, tranning, and orgarnizing of the kitchen staff.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to

1. Perform pre and post kitchen housekeeping chores
2. Prepare and cook the food items as stated on the Captain order
3. Replenish the food supplies in the store accordingly to the daily par stock requirements
4. Prepare the food ingredients, sauces and soups that are necessity items for the daily restaurant operations
5. Check the bar chillers and fridge and maintain at required temperature at all times
6. Inform the service staff on the daily food items availability
