The HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, posting job ads, interviews. The role also involves liaising and attending recruitment fairs, handling onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with employment laws

Recruitment

• Advertise vacancies on all major job posting sites

• Review applications to shortlist candidates.

• Conduct initial interview for the shortlist candidates and arrange appointment with hirings

• Source candidates through various channels ( job portal, recruitment agency etc) and explore new sourcing channels

• Work closing with hiring manager to understand requirement

• Prepare necessary papers for the hiring process including offer & negotiation

• Establish positive relationships within the various stakeholders and candidates to assist with the seamless recruiting process.

Recruitment Fairs

Liaise with organizers and attend recruitment fairs to attract potential candidates.

Onboarding and Offboarding

• Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires.

• Manage offboarding procedures, ensuring all exit formalities are completed.

• Communicate customer requirements to Prime Mover drivers

• Quality-checks for new shipment arrival and ensure our products always in good quality.
• Arranging for sample tasting (in house evaluation).
• Input and update product information in Navision In-house System.
• Sourcing for potential new products
• Liaise with manufacturers for quality issue, product development, customers’ enquiries and regulatory documents requisition.
• Check the compliance of new and existing finished goods against the necessary legislative and regulatory requirements.
• To maintain the halal certification and ensure that products and warehouse premises always comply with MUIS Halal requirements.
• Communicate with HSA and SFA pertaining to product's classification, ingredient checking or product related issues.
• Communicate with NEA and other governmental agencies
• Ensure compliance of product formulations, product labels, and health claims to meet regulatory requirements
• Work with inter department colleagues e.g Skills Development, Marketing & Exports.
• Liaise with Marketing department on new product artwork/amendments, brochure, EDM and infographic regulatory checking
• Sending of products for testing locally, where necessary, in order to comply with the respective authorities’ regulatory legislations/requirements
• To facilitate product registration in Malaysia and other countries (Export), where required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Nutrition or Food Chemistry.
• Preferably food industry/QA background with at least 1 year working experience.
• Independent, go-getter, pro-active and analytical mind
• Multilingual (Fluency in English, Mandarin and/ additional language is an advantage) (in order to liaise with Mandarin suppliers)
