Job Responsibilities:

· Perform KYC due diligence and onboarding on new and existing clients (periodical revisions) for APAC regions

· Conduct checks and due diligence on these clients primarily looking out for PEP/Adverse news/information that may be detrimental to the reputation of the bank

· Communicate closely with Front Office on the collection of the KYC documents/information

· Assessment of money laundering, fraud, reputational risk and sanctions risk factors

· Enhance Client risk assessments and various MIS reports for management reporting to facilitate review in managing risk and strengthening the control procedures and processes.

· Inputting and Maintenance of the Static Data/Accounts of the Clients into the KYC Database

· Participate in Projects and perform UAT testing assigned by the Manager

· Other ad-hoc screenings or duties assigned by the Manager

Job Requirements:

Min Bachelor Degree in Banking & Finance or any related qualifications.

Min 2-3 years of experience in KYC/ onboarding area handling corporate banking portfolio

Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft suite

Good communication skills and detailed personnel

Ability to read & speak Chinese while dealing with APAC regional client portfolio

Role

Be a part of the Corporate Secretarial team leaders who work closely with and assist the Head of Department (“HOD”) to independently provide Corporate Secretarial services to clients. The incumbent will also contribute to the development and implementation of the Corporate Secretarial strategies as well as management of the Corporate Secretarial team, facilitation, and activities with the Company.

Job scope

· Handle full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties including acting as named secretary for a portfolio of clients, company incorporations, preparation, and review of directors’/ shareholders’ resolutions, liaising with Registered Agent for incorporation of offshore companies, etc.

· Attend board meeting of clients, writing of minutes, etc

· Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including meeting deadlines

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and accurately as well as the ability to follow up on pending items in a timely manner

· Lead and manage a team of corporate secretarial assistants

· Involve in staff recruitment, mentoring, and development activities

· Groom, coach, and train team members to enable them to carry out their roles effectively and efficiently

· To identify and highlight potential risks to HOD and recommend/take appropriate actions

Requirements:

· ICSA qualified Chartered Secretary or equivalent related qualification with at least 5 years of relevant and related working experience. Prior work experience in a corporate service provider and understanding of Trusts will be advantageous

· Experience in public unlisted entities and non-profit organisations will be a plus

· Good knowledge of relevant provisions of the Singapore Companies Act and Practices, AML/CFT requirements of registered filing agents, ACRA Bizfile and e-stamping

· Proficient in MS Office Skills and familiar with Corporate Secretarial software such as Viewpoint is an advantage

· Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

· Ability to build team rapport with a willingness in sharing knowledge

· Ability to work independently, multi-task, and meticulous
