We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to be at the front line, collaborating across the organization globally to ensure our legal function operates smoothly and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional eager to build and shape an innovative company with global footprint.

Responsibilities:
Your integral role in our dynamic global team will require you to:

• Provide support and advice on all legal and compliance issues across the Group, covering
  areas including employment matters, disputes and sanctions/trade compliance
• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on various contracts including customer, supplier,
  procurement, distributor, non-disclosure, and tenancy agreements
• Identify, manage and mitigate risks and opportunities in business activities and commercial
  projects
• Prepare and update template agreements, including non-disclosure, supply, service,
  distribution, collaboration and consultancy agreements
• Deliver in-house training on legal and compliance topics
• Oversee the filing and organization of legal contracts and documentation
• Manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio and handle intellectual property
  prosecution matters together with external intellectual property counsel
• Enhance the legal department's legal resources, including policies, procedures, templates and
  checklists
• Handle all data privacy related issues of the Group
• Ensure that applicable SGX listing rules and regulations are complied with
• Support the Group’s M&A activities and integrations as required
• Manage and coordinate with external counsel as needed
• Perform related duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Candidate MUST Possess at least a Juris Doctor or bachelor’s degree in law from a well-respected institution
• Candidate must have at least 7 years of post-qualification experience with exposure to international contracts and complex legal and compliance issues
• Candidate must have good knowledge and experience in SGX listing compliance
• Candidate must have experience in capital market / IP knowledge / contracts
• Candidate must be from electronics / semiconductor manufacturing industry
