Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team in Singapore. As the Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice and support to our group of companies, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal guidance and support on a wide range of issues related to cloud computing and regulatory compliance.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents with customers, partners, and vendors across the region.
• Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations impacting the industry and advise the company on compliance requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and operations, to identify and address legal issues throughout the business in the region.
• Conduct legal research and due diligence to assess risks and opportunities associated with new business initiatives and partnerships
• Manage disputes, litigation, and legal proceedings involving the company in the region, working with external counsel as needed.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure legal and ethical business conduct across the region.

Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Singapore Bar.
• Minimum 3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on technology, intellectual property, or corporate law in Singapore.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, data privacy laws, cybersecurity, and related regulatory frameworks in Singapore and the region.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Compliance Executive (Corporate Legal) - ISO / Internal Audit

• Penjuru (Transport Pickup Provided at: Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang, Bishan & Serangoon)
• Monday - Friday: 8.30am to 6.00pm
• $3,000 - $6,000

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review company policies.
• Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations.
• Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
• Documents drafting, including letter or email.
• Support projects and co-ordinate company activities as assigned.
• Maintain proper and timely filing system, both in shared folder and hardcopy.
• Liaise with Directors of the Group, and other department personnels on compliance related matters.
• Assist to carry out regular internal audits for ISO [9001:2015 / 14001:2015 / 45001: 2018] certifications.
• Provide regular updates for all ISO documents.
• Attend ISO/Fire Safety/Other Audits independently.
• Assist to prepare trademark registration/renewal related documents.
• Co-ordinate and conduct meetings, briefings, or trainings to staffs as and when needed.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
• Possess at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Advantageous for candidate who has relevant experience and or knowledge in ISO.
