About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Corporate Finance Managerto lead and execute strategic financial initiatives for the company and its associate entities. This role requires a highly analytical and proactive professional who can drive financial planning, ensure operational efficiency, and provide valuable insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Planning:

• Develop and execute the company’s corporate finance strategy to align with business objectives.

• Work with lines of business and other finance teams to develop new product analysis, including portfolio/collateral characteristics, peer group funding analysis and collateral comparison, rating agency report review, and any other information to support new product funding strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred
• 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity, with at least 4 years in a leadership role

Job Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance Operations

• In charge of General Ledger including month-end/year-end accounts closing process.

Financial Reporting

Financial Budget

• Prepare annual revised forecast and annual budget in collaboration with the heads of department and school leaders.
• Prepare and/or review periodic budget utilisation reports and analyse budget performance for departments.
• Secretariat duties for Finance Sub-Committee Meetings of the Board of Governors.

Treasury and Banking matters

• Monitor cash flow and placement of fixed deposits.
• Perform administration duties related to banking (i.e. opening/closing of bank account, internet banking platform, corporate/virtual credit cards etc.).

Any Other Matters

• Participate in process improvement and enhancements to accounting systems
• Maintain and communicate finance policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Provide guidance on fundraising and donation matters in accordance with MOE guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

• A bachelor’s degree in accountancy or a related field.
