• Ensure proper coordination between other Contracts and authorities. Ensures an efficient Viaduct, Civil & structural and Geotechnical design is achieved in accordance with Design Criteria and relevant standards;
• Liaise with internal and external parties on all Viaduct, Civil & Structural and Geotechnical design matters and advises and assist the NSC’s PRPM/SPM/PM in all project management matters;
• Assist in investigating and liaising with the public and the relevant authorities for public feedback;
• Train, manage and provide leadership to the site supervisors in supervision and site management work, including the keeping of proper and accurate records;
• Prepare and update project progress reports regularly and carry out presentations whenever required;
• Identify potential or actual causes of delay and discuss with Contractors to take preventive or remedial actions;
• Respond to all emergency matters, such as fire and accidents, at the site during or off working hours;
• Work with the Authority’s team to project monthly construction progress;
• Manage the progress of precast components workshop drawings production, submission and approval. Also manage the mould adequacy and progress of mould fabrication, precast components production and delivery to ensure no delay to the progress of works;
• Ensure implementation of effective Noise Management and Public Communication Plan
• Carry out administrative works pertaining to the management of the project including but not limited to official attendance and minutes or notes taking in all meetings

Job Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in a project/construction environment, with at least 3 years experience in viaduct and /or flyover construction
• Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project work
• Strong leadership qualities with good analytical and communication skills
• Experience in civil/structural / geotechnical design will be an advantage

• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies for engineering spare parts to meet the needs of the maritime port industry.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish contracts to ensure favorable pricing and reliable delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels of engineering spare parts to ensure availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Coordinate with the inventory team to optimize stock levels based on demand forecasts and historical usage.
• Oversee the ordering process for engineering spare parts, including creating purchase orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, such as discrepancies or delays.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to control expenditure.
• Prepare and present cost reports and budget forecasts to senior management.
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand spare parts requirements and address any technical or operational needs
• Evaluate the quality of spare parts received and address any issues related to defects or non-compliance with specifications.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Overall supervision of assigned projects, to ensure timely completion of projects, within the approved budgets set by the Project Manager and the management.

Plan and prepare all project micro and/or master program with indication of Critical Path to complete assigned projects in a timely manner.

To liaise with all subcontractors, consultants and owners on project matters and to resolve all technical discrepancies and site issues.

To supervise and ensure that acceptable workmanship and quality of projects are obtained to the management and consultants’ approval.

To attend, prepare and report on project progress, milestones and targets during meetings.

To organise and to chair regular site meetings with subcontractors, NSCs and suppliers.

Any other adhoc projects and duties as assigned by management.
