Details of the Division and Team:

• As the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) for Technology – Corporate Banking (CB) and Investment Banking (IB) – APAC, you will report to the Chief Auditor (CA) for Technology – CB, IB, and Data, under the Head of Audit for TDI. This role oversees planning, staffing, risk assessment, and the complete delivery of the annual audit plan. The portfolio primarily covers APAC Investment and Corporate Banking Technology, as well as regulatory mandated audits across 14 countries in APAC, which include audits of IT Application General Controls and technology regulatory compliance. You will be leading a team of IT auditors based in Singapore, India, China, and the Philippines.
• For any findings in the portfolio, you will act as the primary relationship manager for senior IT management globally and work with other Group Audit IT PAMs to close findings sustainably.

Your key responsibilities:

• Manages the delivery of a portfolio of complex, global, and regional audits covering the IB & CB Technology in APAC, as well as regulatory requirements. Your skills and experience:

• At least 10 years of direct IT audit experience across various domains, such as: Information Security (IS), Information Technology (IT), IT production controls and processes (e.g., Change / Problem Management), including related frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT), Banking and Transaction Processing Knowledge
• Exposure to IB and CB or similar applications and technologies (e.g. SWIFT, e-trading platforms, digital payment systems, etc.), as well as robust knowledge of capital markets processing, with demonstrable experience in IT auditing in an investment banking context (e.g., audits of automated business controls).
• Experience in auditing IT applications supporting trading and the trade processing lifecycle F2B, including operations. Relevant instruments could include interest rate products, credit products, commodities, futures, and foreign exchange products. Knowledge of algorithmic and high-frequency trading processes would be beneficial.
• Expertise in auditing IT General Controls for applications and related IT infrastructure components.
• Comprehensive experience in risk-based auditing and a clear understanding of the relationship between IT risk and underlying business risk.
• Understanding of the banking regulatory environment.

Team structure

The Cash Product Management Team is seeking a Data Quality and Control Specialist who will drive forward the Data Product pillar data risk and control transformation compliance agenda within the Cash Product team, based in Singapore.

In this role you will contribute to our data risk and control transformation compliance within Cash Management, driving and consolidating considerable change management and delivering best data practices into the core of our Cash franchise to achieve a stronger performance for the Corporate Bank and Deutsche Bank. You will report into the Data Quality and Control Lead who is accountable for one of our four pillars under the Data Pillar function. You will work with our global Product, Sales & Services teams and downstream consumers to focus on delivery of our target data state for cash – ensuring completeness & integrity are assured through our transformation programs throughout the Corporate Bank.

Your key responsibilities:

• Drive forward with the global product owner’s data risk prioritization to improve the control landscape.
• Ensure gaps in data quality and controls are presented alongside the risks to the business and downstream consumers. Ensure benefits of data transformation are clearly articulated up to forums.
• Consolidate all the data control and data risk demands for onward Product discussion and prioritization to our Cash Data Transformation Programme.
• Embed a data driven culture and discipline throughout the Cash Organization, enforce risk based priority to the function to drive control enhancements to our data.
• Produce reporting content on the progress and maturity level against target state to various forums.
• Engage with Central Data teams on Regulation, Policy & Framework updates to ensure alignment of Cash with regulations & DB policies

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 10 years in the Financial Industry.
• Minimum 7 years experience in Corporate Bank or Investment Bank.
• 4-5 years driving forward data quality and controls within their role either in Corporate Bank or Investment Bank.
• Strong awareness of managing data quality and improving the control environment.
• Strong literacy in Data topics & an appetite for ongoing learning
• Strong risk awareness and experience in identifying, measuring and tracking business risks
• Working technology knowledge and architecture planning skills to ensure solutions to risks/issues are embedded in target state whilst effectively mitigating near term challenges

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
