• Sales Support and Tools: Provide essential sales and marketing tools to improve the win rate for sales and service teams. This includes product and application support, ensuring the right level of know-how at POI, and managing demos, workshops, and application support.
• Market Intelligence and Business Planning: Continuously monitor market trends and competitors' dynamics, adjusting business strategies accordingly. Provide VOC, EPS, forecasts, and PSI to factory and operations. Identify business plans for current and potential tender opportunities, focusing on expanding the company's market influence and share.
• Key Account Management: Collaborate with the sales team to drive sales initiatives and manage key accounts. Develop and implement short and long-term operational plans for key accounts, ensuring the effective onboarding of new clients and the growth and development of existing ones. Act as the key interface between customers and relevant divisions, making regular visits to gather market information and relay it to management. Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree in Life Science or related fields
• Min 8 years of relevant product marketing experience in Life Science Research/ Applied Industry
• Strong knowledge of products and distribution channels
• Previous experience in Account Management or Territory/Region Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Plan, organize and manage the Procurement and Supplier Management processes for the assigned Plant under Power & Renewables located in Singapore.
• Liaise with Plant/Project Manager, Section Manager/Head and Engineer to understand their current and anticipated demand for goods, services and works. Integrate the technical requirements into the Procurement Plan and to support in new Tender sourcing.
• Engage in sourcing, evaluating and qualifying of new suppliers. Conduct performance evaluation for existing suppliers on an annual basis.
• Identify and develop alternative suppliers and support cost reduction programmes.
• Handle and manage RFQ/RFP, commercial evaluations, price and T&Cs negotiation, PO/Contract award and PO/Contract administration to final delivery and PO close out - Ensure the Company's best interest is consistently achieved.
• Procure, administer, develop and manage all tenders, contracts in accordance with safety and budgetary requirements, technical specifications, contract and procurement guidelines.
• Ensure that the procurement process is in adherence to Company and Client requirements, Company policies and procedures.
• Work with applicable staff to research and resolve supplier issues which has been escalated and/or advise the assigned Plant as appropriate.
• Build and develop relationships with suppliers and contractors, manage relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.
• Undertake tasks, activities and assignments at the direction of the Procurement Manager.
• Ensure that the monthly procurement reports and cost saving / cost avoidance statistics are reported on-time to the Procurement Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent business studies with more than 3 years of procurement experience, preferably with experience in Plants Operations & Maintenance environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
• High integrity,mature and driver to work independently.
• A good team player who is able to build rapport with a diverse workforce in a multi-cultural setting and work well with other departments and internal stakeholders.
• Strong ability to negotiate, resourceful, resourceful and good analytical skills.

• Manage the planning, design, and execution of mechanical and building services packages for construction projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Ensure client expectations are understood and met.
• Supervise and coordinate mechanical and building services teams, including subcontractors and consultants. Lead team meetings and ensure smooth communication across all project stakeholders.
• Develop and manage budgets for mechanical and building services packages, ensuring that all activities are completed within the allocated financial framework.
• Develop and manage project schedules to ensure all mechanical and building services work is completed on time. Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Ensure all work packages meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality protocols. Conduct site inspections to verify the quality of work.
• Identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruption to project timelines.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and the selection and management of subcontractors for mechanical and building services packages.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and solutions.

• Define, develop, and manage the I&C work package scope, schedule, and budget.
• Monitor progress of work packages and ensure they are executed according to schedule and budget.
• Coordinate between various engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.), vendors, contractors, and project management teams.
• Ensure effective communication and reporting of progress, issues, and milestones to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure that all work packages comply with project specifications, industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control requirements.
• Manage the procurement process for I&C materials, equipment, and services, ensuring on-time delivery and conformance to specifications.
• Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure that the work environment adheres to company and regulatory safety standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all I&C work packages, including drawings, specifications, test plans, and procedures.
• Provide regular and detailed reports to project management regarding work package performance, milestones, and any issues that arise.
• Oversee the commissioning and testing of instrumentation and control systems to ensure proper functionality and integration with the overall system.
