Responsibilities:
· Architect, implement, and support technologies and platforms for the Corporate environment.
· Liaising with multiple stakeholders across all areas of the business on a daily / weekly basis keeping all informed regarding issues and solutions
· Maintain level 3 support for all relevant technologies.
· Optimize processes and procedures where needed and leverage automation when possible.
· Create, contribute, and maintain a working knowledge base and document issues that are conducive to knowledge transfer.
· Ensure scalability, high availability, security, and reliability is delivered and maintained to all relevant internal and client systems.
· Continuous Improvement via performance analysis and optimization, capacity management, problem management, and incident management
· Participate 24x7x365 on call staff coverage.
· Perform and manage any special projects/tasks assigned.
Skills/Requirements:
· 5+ years of working experience as an Infrastructure engineer implementing and managing various technologies relevant to Corporate Technology.
· Excellent and proven knowledge of Microsoft technologies including but not limited to Windows Server, Office365, Active Directory, Clustered File Services, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, PKI etc.
· Strong knowledge and working experience of desktop imaging and deployment mechanisms leveraging technologies like Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Windows ADK and WDS.
· Strong experience in automation and scripting languages (Powershell knowledge preferred)
· Strong knowledge and working experience with design and implementation of VDI
· environments leveraging technologies like Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and Citrix Application Layering
· HP ThinClient and HP Device Manager knowledge preferred but not required.
· Experience working with various collaboration technologies: Messaging, Video, and Voice
· Strong knowledge and working experience with designing, implementing, and supporting different Virtualization technology including VMware, Nutanix, and Acropolis
· Experience with different storage technologies and connectivity including iSCSI and NFS.
· Experience with third-party SSO providers
· Experience with enterprise backup configuration and data recovery
· Proven ability to work effectively independently and within a team using own initiative.
· Ability to multi-task and change priorities as needed
· Professionalism to support a 24/7 production environment
