Reporting the RVP Finance & Corporate Administration, we are seeking a dynamic Corporate Services Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of corporate structures, compliance and ESG principles, as well as a proven track record in partnering and managing internal and external stakeholders and teams.
Principal Responsibilities
Key duties and tasks will include, but will not be restricted or limited to:
- Develop and implement comprehensive regional compliance programs and policies that align with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Monitor and report on compliance performance to senior management.
- Ensure internal company policies and see that they are respected.
- Make sure the organization has a clearly defined program for complying with the country’s laws.
- Constantly report to management concerning the organization’s compliance with laws and regulations.
- Take action in dealing with non-compliance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome them.
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations.
- Communicate with employees and make sure everyone is aware of what they need to do to comply with internal and external laws and regulations.
- Working with other departments in the company, such as the legal, human resources and finance departments, to ensure compliance of all departments.
- Manage and coordinate corporate secretarial services across business partners, multiple countries, and jurisdictions to ensure alignment and compliance to local, international, and internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure all businesses are coordinated for compliance to business requirements for board meetings, business laws, shareholder contractual agreements, etc., in alignment with Menzies Aviation and respective country laws.
- Develop and implement contingency plans for potential compliance breaches.
- Provide advisement for corporate structure design and strategies in consideration of laws, finance, taxes, operations, and partnerships.
- Ability to travel internationally when required and in accordance with business needs
Safety, Security and Compliance
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions whilst at work.
- Co-operate with their manager / supervisor in order to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company.
- Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety or welfare reasons.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preference in law, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate compliance
- Experience in a multinational corporation.
- Preferred certification in compliance
- Strong understanding of applicable compliance regulations (e.g., anti-corruption, data privacy, labour standards, environmental, ISO, aviation).
- Proven track record in working with remote regional teams and operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English plus one other; Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malayu, Thai, Vietnamese, Tagalog
- Experience in compliance and risk management.
- Familiarity with developing and executing compliance management techniques.
- Experience in conducting audits and investigations and providing relevant strategies.
- Right to, or ability to have, work in Singapore.
