Who We Are Looking For

You are a qualified accounting professional with min 5 years of relevant experience, including a strong background in accounting and analysis. Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and grow the bank’s existing corporate client portfolio.

• Acquire and evaluate new clients, structure credit facilities, perform credit assessments, cash flow projections, and loan documentation.

• Conduct thorough KYC checks, ensuring strict adherence to compliance procedures and reporting requirements within the bank’s framework.

• Assess credit risks by conducting detailed financial analysis and preparing credit reports.

• Address client queries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

• Collaborate with internal teams, both locally and across overseas branches, to support business objectives.

• Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Head of Department or management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.

• Minimum of 3 years in managing corporate banking relationships.

• Prior experience in syndication, trade finance, or the commodities sector is highly desirable.

• Strong credit writing and analytical abilities.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders across departments.

• Proactive, energetic, results-driven, with strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, audit documentation, ESG sustainability reports, and variance analysis to meet reporting deadlines.
• Lead forecasting, budget planning, and cost management while providing actionable financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements, including GST, MAS reporting, and SGX announcements.
• Manage liquidity, oversee cash flow, authorize payments, and review reconciliations for accuracy.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers for year-end audits and tax filings.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify and drive process improvements in reporting, budgeting, and financial systems.
• Support ad-hoc assignments, including system implementation projects.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent, with CA, CPA, or ACCA certification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience working in a Bank or Financial Institution.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS and Singapore tax regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent analytical skills, and leadership abilities.

Job Responsibilities

Financial

• Assist in Financial closing of the books in BU (Provision, Accruals, Billing, Processing payment, pass JV etc)
• Assist in Annual Budgeting, Monthly Forecast activity using in-house tools
• Financial controlling / monitoring
• Variance Analysis and commentary on financial numbers: FC vs Act vs Budget
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Analysis
• Perform regular reviews on AR / WIP inventory, GRIR, bill due list
• Assist in ad hoc financial topics / reviews / audits

Commercial

• Assist in SO creation, PO creation, ops & logistic, billing and AR collection
• Assist in project creation, PO creation, project ops & logistic, billing and AR collection
• Ops & Logistic include : Follow up delivery, coordinate shipment with vendor, forwarder, customer and sales team of logistic arrangement; prepare delivery note, and shipping document ; prepare proforma Invoice for COD customer

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Accountancy or Business with min 3 years of relevant work experience
• Familiar with SAP FI, MM and PS modules
• Able to manage various stakeholder for FC and project related topic
• Able to multitask high volume activities
• Organized and meticulous
