Job Description:

• Handle full spectrum of accounting duties, including Accounts Payable, Account Receivables and General Ledger functions
• Cash management including cashflow planning and bank reconciliation
• Support month end closing activities
• Ensure all monthly processes and requirement are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Prepare balance sheet schedule and balance sheet reconciliation
• Produce all regulatory reporting including GST and ensure accurate and timely submission
• Support and follow through process improvement initiative to improve efficiencies including implementation of new project
• Assist HOD to roll out new procedures and policies and ensure compliance are in place for internal and statutory requirements
• Support the internal/ external regulatory audit & tax requirements
• Any other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Meticulous and possess good software skills such as MS Word and Excel

Responsibilities:

• Organise Student Orientation.
• Ensure students are registered for e-attendance system.
• Monitor students' attendance and provide students enrollment data to external vendor for tabulation.
• Manage Student Learning Management System for students and teaching staff. (include creation of account, module enrolment and de-activation of inactive students etc)
• Monitor students’ course fee payment.
• Process royalty payment.
• Monitor students' term enrolment and provide advice on their pathway.
• Ensure accurate module enrolment in the Student Management System.
• Assist in the planning of students' graduation ceremony.
• For graduated students: ensure that student pass are cancelled and status in eteams are updated.
• Ensure End of Course Evaluation are done for modules conducted.
• Process students’ request – deferment, withdrawal, progamme transfer etc.
• Provide Course counselling to students who transferred to new programme.
• Attend to students' enquiries (walk-in I emails)
• Liaise with U partners on students' administrative matters.
• Liaise with exam department on exam/re-exam related matters.

Requirements:

• min. Diploma/ Degree in Business or any related disciplines
• Possess 1-2 years prior working experience in education programmes management roles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and able to work independently as well
