As an Operations Executive, you will be responsible for the operational onboarding and supporting merchants on qlub’s platform and services.

About the Role

Legal Entity Controllers (LEC) is responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm. Finance prepares external reports for public and regulatory filings and internal reporting for financial oversight and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce legal entity financial statements and liaise with external auditors for financial audit
• Produce legal entity regulatory reporting for submission to regulators (e.g. Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Singapore Stock Exchange, the Federal Reserve Bank (U.S.), National Futures Association, Commodities Future Trading Commission, etc)
• Perform financial close process including analytical review
• Monitor and track different key metrics for regulated entities (e.g. financial performance, regulatory ratios etc.)
• Produce legal entity level reporting for key governance forums (Meeting of Board of Directors, Asset and Liability Committees)
• Produce legal entity financial reporting for submission to government agencies (e.g. Department of Statistics)
• Partner with Tax department and Tax agents on tax related matter and corporate tax filings
• Partner with internal / global stakeholders on various initiatives and projects.
• Perform regulatory impact assessment and User Acceptance Testing of regulatory reporting system to support new business initiatives and regulatory developments.

Responsibility

• Manage endorsement, cancellation, and renewal process within department’s service turnaround time

Programme Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare Overall Schedule based on programme information.
• Plan and schedule timetables with scheduling system (Syllabus Plus) and release timetables within the given timeframe.
• Work with Heads of Schools to schedule assignments to academics (Full Time / Associates) and to ensure full-time academics are prioritized and optimally assigned to teaching assignments.
• Liaise with vendors for outsourced tasks, such as lecturer placement, issuance of contract, payroll processing, assessment marking fee, etc and support in providing necessary data and information where required.
• Managing and updating the pool of Associated Lecturers.
• Daily checking of assigned classes to ensure class starts as per scheduled.
• Liaise with University partners on scheduling related matters: students’ pathway, teaching load etc for assigned programmes.
• Provide accurate information and schedule promptly and updates to relevant stakeholders as and when necessary.

Resource Planning & Data Management

• Plan and manage resources (e.g. room, lecturers) using Syllabus Plus to ensure smooth delivery of programmes.
• Input, maintain and update information and data to student management system and / or other applicable applications.
• Ensure all assigned teaching staff and modules are registered with CPE.
• Liaise with the Programme Management team for customized student’s pathway, tutorial groupings, assessments, etc for the assigned programmes.

Exams

• Work with Exam Team to plan examination schedules for assigned programmes.
• Liaise with Exam Centre for main and re-exams.

Others

• Support in providing data during budgeting exercise.
• Support in conducting orientation to newly appointed associate lecturer.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree holder in any discipline with 1-3 years of experience
• Assist in events and orientation 2-4 times per year

Job Description:

You will be joing the Operations Team and shall be responsible for the documentation and commercial coordination of the business as illustrated below:

1. Coordination:

i. Part of the Operations team for order processing, export and import documentation.

ii. Coordinate Sales and Purchase Contracts, Order processing, and shipping status / documents for the execution of the orders.

iii. Update Finance with the status of banking negotiations, Revenue/ Shipments done every month along with the shipment log and expense statements.

v. Provide information required for preparation of MIS by the management
