About the Role

In Singapore’s Enabling Masterplan 2030, the national roadmaps for the whole of society to come together to support persons with disabilities, ABLE plays a critical and holistic role in helping the physically challenged to live with dignity and purposefully.

As such, we are looking for an energetic and passionate individual to implement ABLE’s corporate partnerships, focused on fundraising and volunteer management, collaboration with corporates on joint CSR initiatives, and strengthening ABLE’s purpose and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support and Execute Corporate Fundraising Partnerships and Grant Submissions

· Support the senior management to partner with ABLE leadership, colleagues, and Board members to develop and implement sustainable fundraising efforts targeting corporate partners and grant makers to achieve ABLE’s priorities, including capital projects.

· Develop and implement innovative fundraising campaigns to drive corporate (including family offices) donations across digital platforms (e.g. giving.sg)

· Explore various channels to expand ABLE’s reach to corporate decision-makers and donors for both offline and online fundraising platforms to support ABLE’s cause.

· Support the senior management to ensure end-to-end follow-up on strategic partnerships with grant makers and foundations such as NCSS, SG Enable and other social sector agencies, corporate and family foundations, Caritas. This includes grant writing supported by relevant research and insights.

· Develop and design compelling fundraising and strategic partnership materials such as proposals, brochures, reports.

· Prepare regular updates and reports to the CEO and Board members including analyses of donor portfolio and fundraising efficiency.

· Collaborate internally to prioritize limited resources for the greatest possible impact and return on investment, including leveraging technology and social media where appropriate.

· Support the senior management to cultivate new sources of funds from the corporate sector and grant makers to expand donor pipeline and support the sustainability of ABLE.

· Maintain the various donation payment gateways and donor database and ensure timely reporting of donors transactions working closely with Finance to ensure all TDRs are delivered to all donors.

· Support all sponsorship needs of the CPC team including seeking sponsorships for key events such as the annual charity golf and dinners.

2. Support Corporate CSR and Inclusive Employer engagement

· Work with senior management and the various programme managers to explore synergies with key stakeholders and co-develop long-term giving strategies with corporations, partner institutions and foundations.

· Work with ABLE colleagues to design and direct high-impact corporate engagement projects.

Any other duties as assigned by the Head Community Partnerships and Communications.

Requirement

· Degree from an accredited tertiary institution, or comparable qualification.

· At least 4-5 years in a fundraising or similar capacity such as sales & marketing, business development, client-facing role.

· Past experience in the non-profit sector preferred.

· Results-driven team player, with experience working with a high degree of independence in time-sensitive environment.

· Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse audiences, corporate philanthropic leaders, grant makers and HNWIs.

· Familiarity with Corporate CSR/Philanthropic arm, foundations, social services, non-profit sector would be advantageous.

· Experience developing innovative fundraising projects or programmes targeting the corporate sector.

· Experience delivering results with limited resources.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supports CEO in his/her role as the executive officer in areas of corporate governance, Governing Council and its Executive Committee, enterprise risk and strategic planning inclusive of business continuity.
• Assist in corporate secretarial work including preparation of resolutions and minutes of meetings.

Job Description: Legal Counsel (Director)

This role will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the organization’s compliance with government laws, regulations, and internal policies, a vital role to ensure that the business operations are executed within the legal and ethical boundaries set by the government and industry regulations, to maintain Cerecin’s integrity and reputation.

Legal Key Responsibilities

• Technical and commercial Support: General corporate R&D, finance, HR, IT, Quality, Regulatory, commercial support, assessing legal implications, and advise across the organizations on resolving legal issues
• Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate pharmaceutical/finance related contracts across multiple jurisdiction such as NDAs, client/vendor agreements, software licenses, distribution, supply tenders, consultancy, and other interactions with healthcare professionals/sponsorhips
• Disputes. Manage various legal dispute or litigations
• Project Financing: Support in corporate transactions and project financing. Assist in preparation and review of financing transaction documents including loan agreements, security documentation, and related contracts
• Coordination with external counsel: Liaise with and external legal counsel in multiple jurisdictions, on complex transactions and regulatory matters, ensuring timely and effective legal support
• Public Statement: Review press releases, support promotional material review, material released to public (e.g. via social media)

• Training and Education: Provide training to employees on compliance-related issues, ensuring that all staff are aware of their obligations under the law
• Monitoring and Reporting: Support the implementation and operation of tracking/monitoring systems, conduct regular self-reviews, and manage compliance with local pharma industry association promotional codes. Prepare and present compliance reports to management, detailing compliance status and any issues that arise.
• Handle non-compliance situations: Investigate and report any violations of laws or regulations to management and regulatory bodies (as applicable). Provide advice and take action in dealing with serious violations, creating realistic plans to overcome them
• Liaison with Regulatory Bodies: Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, managing communications and ensuring timely reporting of compliance matters

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field is typically required OR A bachelor’s degree in law with admission to the Singapore, UK/US, or Australia Bar would be preferred . Advanced degrees or certifications in compliance or risk management can be advantageous
• Experience: At least 10 years of working experience, IPO listing experience highly preferred .Relevant experience in compliance, legal affairs, audit or risk management is crucial. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations e.g. U.S. FDA, Singapore HSA, etc.. is a plus
• Knowledge: Good knowledge of compliance issues, particularly data processing and protection, sanctions, anti-corruption, conflict of interest, financial crimes, Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law
