Job role: Assistant Manager to Manager (Insurance Broking)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
· Preparation and presentation of insurance proposals, quotations and renewals
· Handle client inquiries and resolve issues
· Collaborate with underwriters and other internal teams to deliver best solutions for clients
· Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to ensure optimal overage and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
· Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to provide informed advice to clients
· Foster a cohesive and collaborative team culture within the division as well as across the company
JOB SCOPE
· Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in Corporate Insurance, specifically in Property and Casualty; additional experience in Marine and Construction insurance will be advantageous.
· Analyse client needs and risk exposures specific to these industries and recommend appropriate insurance products and services
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all dealings with clients and insurers.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
· Enjoys working with people and building relationships with people
· Meticulous and mindful of deadlines
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Experience in Corporate insurance with a minimum of 5 years in an insurance or broking firm or similar capacity
· Experienced in MNC accounts and/or handling tenders will be an advantage.
· A diploma / degree holder in any discipline and/or professional insurance qualifications, i.e. ACII, DGI or BCP, PGI, ComGI Certifications
