Stolthaven’s corporate Asset Management department is responsible for developing various new business opportunities in close cooperation with our commercial functions, various experts and local management. The role of business development engineer is a key role in this. As a business development Engineer, you will be supporting with everything technical around business development. Qualifications

1. Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, EI&A, Civil or related field

2. Familiarity with applicable standards and codes relating to bulk liquid storage facilities for the applicable terminal location is preferred or should be obtained as part of training. This could include API, EEMUA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and CFR and any other (local) codes

3. Exposure to Multi-disciplinary project teams with various business stakeholders is preferred

4. Self-motivated to ‘close the loop’ with actions and administrative responsibilities

5. Able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders in Portuguese and/or Chinese languages

6. Able to build and maintain both internal and external relations on various levels

7. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Especially ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
