The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real, technical problems while creating the revenue streams that help the company provide free service to millions in our community.

About this Role

Based in Singapore, you will drive sales into ASEAN public sector clients for Cloudflare’s solutions. Your strategic selling activities will include "hunter" type activities to proactively penetrate target named accounts, detailed account planning, focused relationship building and leading effective sales campaigns to successful closure.

The ideal candidate will possess both a major account sales background in technology solutions, primarily software based, that enables them to drive engagement with senior level decision makers within Cloudflare’s target customers. Industry experience selling into ASEAN public sector and state owned businesses are desired in this role.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

• Bachelor's degree required
• Able to speak in an ASEAN language to deal with customers in the respective countries
• Relevant direct experience, track record, and relationships within corporate accounts and key partners in Singapore market
• Minimum 10 years of direct B2B selling experience,
• Direct experience selling SaaS, cyber security, zero trust and/or CDN solutions and services preferred
• Prior experience being part of an early sales team helping drive traction in the an additional ASEAN market for a US-based SaaS company highly preferred
• Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles
• Basic Understanding of computer networking and “how the internet works”
• Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms (Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus)
• Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
• Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit, ability to lead
• Comfortable working in a fast paced dynamic environment

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist and support the office in any kind of architectural projects;
• Take a lead role in feasibility studies, design, design development, tender documentation and contract administration;
• Project Management;
• Training and supervision of junior staff.

Expertise and Qualities:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Min. 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Passion for design, a commitment to continued learning and the desire to innovate.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or within a team in a proactive studio environment.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills.
• Ability to supervise and manage a team
• Chair and conduct all meetings;
• Lead, control and prepare architectural drawings, presentations and reports
• Provide critical review of drawings and able to direct junior staff to make amendments;
• To lead the project team in achieving project goals, targets and milestone dates.
• Very conversant with and able to direct or carry out site inspection, site progress documentation, including resolving problems and issues that arise during construction;
• Ensure good project document control;

He/She is responsible to:

- maximise revenue and profitability from daily customer attendance;

- be a role model and perform hosting duties to our guest, manage reservations.

- optimise cost-efficiency and effectiveness

- manage staff / labour arrangements to meet the daily operations needs of the restaurant;

- Initiate and drive training initiatives for staff with continuous performance improvement as a daily goal;

- account for the daily sales through accurate reporting as well as submission of takings;

- ensure inventory management is performed weekly (or more frequent as deemed necessary by the General Manager) to maintain accurate stock levels and eliminate wastage and/or pilferage where gaps are identified.

He/She should:

- be proficient and fluent in written and spoken English, and preferably another language;

- have relevant experience in a similar management role in a service environment;

- be proficient with the computer and common applications.

The successful candidate:

- will report directly to the Restaurant Manager;
