Responsibilities:
· Provides a broad range of routine paraprofessional, technical, and administrative support services to the General Counsel, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, booking and coordinating travel and visas, processing expenses and handling correspondences.
· Prepare and manage budgets for the legal and secretariat department.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for budgeting purposes.
· Maintain databases of key records, website postings of policies and procedures
· Organize and maintain confidential legal documents, records, and files.
· Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for the General Counsel.
· Maintain department calendars and monitor time-sensitive deadlines for legal matters.
· Coordinate reporting by the different teams within the department.
· Act as a liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders.
· Undertake general office management tasks, such as coordinating logistics for department meetings and events, such as the annual Group Functional Meet
· Support General Counsel in any ad hoc initiatives.
Requirements:
· Minimum Diploma in any field.
· Proven experience in providing comprehensive administrative support to legal professionals or in a corporate setting.
· Conscientious and meticulous with good organizational skills, with attention to detail.
· Proactive in support and identifying efficiencies.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work well under pressure and tight timelines.
· Excellent team player with commitment and drive to succeed in an enterprising corporate environment.
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
· Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
