We are looking for enthusiastic and confident Sales Engineers who have selling experience in the Singapore market. The role will report to our Director of Sales, Domestic with responsibilities including revenue generation of assigned portfolios. The attributes we are looking for include excellent communication skills, self-motivation contributing towards growth in prospecting, following up on leads; supporting clients and the overall sales organization in selling the full suite of bearings products across industries; and managing the B2B sales pipeline to meet the annual sales quota specifically in the Singapore market.

• Identify sales opportunities and develop new accounts
• Drive sales, monitor, track and take necessary actions to ensure that goals are met
• Maintain and prepare timely sales pipeline information in CRM and related reports
• Achieve monthly sales targets, objectives and track sales performance and metrics
• Preparation of proposals, submit quotations and tenders
• Ensure customer orders are processed accordingly
• Manage and grow existing accounts to ensure continuous growth
• Expand market share with existing and new customers
• Enhance value-added selling approach
• Provide quality after-sales service to customers
• Experience in selling electronics/mechanical components

The Successful Applicant:

• Preferably with a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration with industrial experience
• Minimum 3 years of working experience
• Experience in Engineering or a related field would be an added advantage
• A team player who is meticulous and able to work independently
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience

The Job:

• Manage sales activities for multi-brand / model commercial vehicles, including internal combustion, electric, and hybrid vehicles
• Source for new customers, service and manage existing assigned customers to achieve/exceed sales targets and objectives
• Purchase all types of pre-owned commercial vehicles for inventory replenishment
• Manage the selling process, including customer servicing, follow-ups, and attending to sales queries, including walk-in customers
• Manage customer accounts, including required documentation, vehicle-related issues, outstanding payments, and other matters
• Facilitate test drive, vehicle introduction, and handover
• Provide comprehensive information about pricing, leasing, sales, or vehicle information to customers/corporates
• Develop professional knowledge in automotive sales regulations and safety and vehicle knowledge
• Prepare and compile weekly sales activities and reports for management

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent qualifications
• Prior experience in insurance, retail, real estate or automotive trade preferred
• A strong passion for the automotive/motoring industry
