This is a 6-month contract role with a high potential for conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

About the Role
You will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of our daily operations while supporting the growth and development of our operational capabilities. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute directly to operational processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Oversee and execute day-to-day operations such as customer onboarding, transaction monitoring, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Process Enhancement: Assist in reviewing and refining operational workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and other team members to ensure alignment of processes with business objectives.
- Data and Reporting: Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate documentation of all operational activities.
- Compliance Focus: Ensure adherence to MAS regulations, AML/CFT guidelines, and Opal’s internal compliance policies during all operational activities.
- Customer Service Excellence: Act as a point of contact for resolving operational issues and ensuring high-quality support for both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Accountancy, Business, or Finance.
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, preferably within financial institutions or fintech companies. Experience in process improvements is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements such as KYC, AML/CFT, and transaction monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify operational gaps and recommend solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable with dynamic environments and adaptable to changing priorities.
