Position Title

Sales Executive (SIN)

Reports To

Country Manager Singapore / Philippines

Key Accountability

• To assist in all sales activities and provide personalized service to travel agents e.g., 80 agents and execute strategies to meet the targeted revenue.
• To prepare sales presentations, proposals and other documents regarding products and promotions prepared by Revenue Management and sell to travel agents and prospective clients including product briefings conduction.
• To monitor the sales performance of travel agents, by providing service and support related to FIT (Free Independent Traveller) and groups movement
• To participate actively in travel trade and consumer fairs.
• To monitor market trends and collect insights regarding OALs (Other Airlines) strategy and analyse sales data from Business Intelligence and perform quarterly review with all account coverage.
• To be liaison between Travel Trade and relevant Malaysia Airlines Business Unit (revenue management, airport operation and customer service) in resolving problems arise from daily operation.
• To develop and strengthen networking with the key decision makers within the Travel Agencies, including organizing MH related events and activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field..
• Degree - minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the corporate sector in Singapore.
• Diploma - minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the corporate sector in Singapore.

Area of Experience

• Strong understanding of the Singapore Airlines and Tourism market and corporate sector, including business culture, regulatory environment, and market trends.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales pipeline.
• Airlines/Tourism sales experience is a must

1. Sales Support: Assist the catering sales team with lead generation, prospecting potential clients, and following up on inquiries. Provide detailed information about catering services, pricing and availability. Coordinate and schedule client appointments and site visits for the sales team.
   
2. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing event details, and ensuring a positive client experience throughout the sales process. Respond promptly and professionally to emails, phone calls, and other client communications.
   
3. Event Coordination: Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budget. Assist in developing customized event proposals, menus, and contracts. Coordinate event details with internal teams, including culinary, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution.
   
4. Order Processing and Documentation: Prepare and process catering orders with accuracy and efficiency.Maintain comprehensive documentation, including contracts, invoices, and event details. Liaise with the finance department to ensure timely billing and payment processing.
   
5. Menu Planning and Customization: Work closely with clients to identify menu preferences and accommodate dietary restrictions. Collaborate with the culinary team to create customized menus and ensure ingredient availability. Communicate special requests or menu changes to relevant departments.
   
6. Event Logistics: Assist with logistical arrangements, including venue setup, equipment rentals, and transportation coordination.Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and setup of catering services. Address any event-related issues or last-minute changes promptly.
   
7. Sales Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate sales records, including client information, leads, and prospects, using CRM tools or similar systems.
   Prepare regular sales reports, tracking activities, conversion rates, and revenue performance. Support the management of sales pipelines and identify growth opportunities.
   
8. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service. Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and address any concerns.Identify opportunities for repeat business and client referrals.
   

Job Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders
• Maintain price list
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure shipment of customer orders on time
• Ensure planners release WO on time and production completes WO as per WO due date
• Respond to customer’s open order reports promptly
• Update customer due date if necessary
• Preparation of sales and consigned items reports to customers
• Sends invoices and SOAs to customers and follow up with customers for payment
• Be the main contact for customers and attend to their requests
• Chair FA meetings
• Coordinate and ensure RFQ are sent out to customers in a timely manner
• Involve in NPI projects
• Performs checks and balances in the sales system
• Review and sign off ECN/ECO submitted by engineers
• Requote customers whenever necessary
• Handle customer RMA
• Ensures customer consigned items are properly managed and accounted for
• Ensures SO due dates are achieved

Responsibilities:

• Develop the project business locally and identify and directly target architects and developers for projects.
• Support local distributors with pricing, catalogues and project specification support
• Achieve annual sales targets and assist in tender for projects
• Assist with market research or other local activities related to market and business development and sales growth
• Promote brand awareness, identify prospective clients, and expand the clientele base for the company with focus on the construction sector
• Take ownership and lead business development efforts in selected market segments
• To execute plans and strategies set by General Manager and the company
• Attend to sales enquiries and prepare quotation.

Requirements:

• Diploma, Degree in Marketing / Business or any relevant discipline
• Possess min 3 to 5 years experience in sales or marketing with good track records in working with developers, architectural and designer firms.
• Goals driven and hands-on in executing key measures
• High level of reliability and personal integrity
• Experience in the sanitary fittings industry will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely & report to Sales Manager.
• Drive sales to meet Yearly and Monthly targets.
• Manage new customer accounts and assist CSO with existing customer issues (e.g., delivery or quality problems).
• Build and maintain relationships with customers (new and existing).
• Analyze customer projects and market trends.
• Review and input customer sales forecasts into reports.
• Update weekly sales forecast, prepare monthly sales and KPI performance reports.
• Participate in weekly RFQ discussions to prioritize tasks.
• Update LinkedIn content and maintain account accuracy.
• Handle customer inquiries and manage stock declarations (MRP parts and others).
• Process RFQs, send quotations, and monitor FA, production builds, and ECN activation.
• Manage inventory, passive, excess, and aging stock monthly.
• Attend production and customer meetings on delivery and other matters.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks from upper management.
