RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Have a passion and excel in cold calling, performing product demos both in-person and online, and creating long-lasting relationships.

-Heavy prospecting and exceed revenue targets by establishing influence with meeting planners in all market segments including corporate, association, and SMERFE through a variety of avenues such as personal appointments, presentations, phone calls, emails, social media, and industry events.

-Develop working relationships with various Hotel Sales Partners at a global, area, and on-property level.

-Excel in managing gatekeepers, influencing multiple decision-makers, and understanding the complexities of closing a transaction.

-Establish and cultivate an extensive professional network within the assigned geographical region with client and hoteliers.

-Facilitate and maintain consistent sales activity levels to ensure attainment of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.

-Develop and maintain a high technical competency of Hoteplanner products, competitors and industry trends.

-Process and accurately document daily sales activity in Hotelplanner database.

-Collaborate with other Hotelplanner team members to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

-Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

-Perform all other duties as assigned.

What you’ll Need to Succeed:

-Minimum 3-5 years of experience in outside sales and Business Development.

-Extensive experience in account development and proven ability to close sales.

-Excellent verbal, written and group communication and presentation skills; ability to utilize communication skills to effectively influence across functions and business units as well as across different leadership levels.

-Excellent organizational & analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

-Strong empathy for customers and a passion for revenue and growth.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, plan, schedule deliveries and prepare shipping documentation.
• Attend to customer enquiries/complaints/feedback and liase with Sales for follow up.
• Provide effective communication and co-ordination between Sales and Customers.
• Plan & prepare purchase requisition to Purchasing/Procurement.
• Expedite Purchasing/Procurement/Sourcing for inward deliveries from suppliers to ensure on time deliveries to customers
• Liase with Store for outgoing deliveries to customers.
• Prepare and issue work orders to Store for assembly and packaging work.
• Assist Sales to update and manage customers project.
• Any other tasks as required for Sales department

Requirement

• Minimum GCE A levels or Polytechnic Diploma
• 1-2 years customer service experience / sales / admin experience preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel/Word/Outlook)
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin to speak to Mandarin-speaking clients
• Willingness to learn and ability to multi-task
• Willingness to work extended hours to attend to last minute requests from customers, where necessary
