Key Responsibilities
- Sales Growth:Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets for project-based and commercial furniture sales.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in corporations, architects, interior designers, and contractors.
- Business Development:Identify potential new business opportunities in the commercial furniture market (e.g., corporate offices, educational institutions, healthcare, and government sectors).
Conduct market research to understand trends and competitor activity.
- Account Management:Manage existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Provide tailored solutions to clients based on their needs, budgets, and timelines.
- Project Management Support:Work with the design and project management teams to ensure smooth delivery of furniture solutions.
Oversee post-sales activities, including installation, to ensure client satisfaction.
- Presentation & Negotiation:Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients while maintaining profitability.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Alternatively, equivalent experience in furniture sales or a related industry.
- Work Experience:3–5+ years of proven success in sales, preferably in commercial furniture or office systems.
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Strong experience with project-based sales and working with B2B clients.
- Skills:In-depth knowledge of commercial furniture products, solutions, and trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop rapport with clients and stakeholders across multiple industries.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Attributes
- Existing network of architects, interior designers, and project managers in the commercial furniture industry.
- Familiarity with space planning and office design concepts.
- Experience handling large-scale projects for corporate, educational, or institutional spaces.
- Certifications in sales or knowledge of ergonomic and sustainable furniture solutions are a plus.
