Staff Development

1. Supervise, mentor and coach junior staff by enhancing their product/ market knowledge.

Client Management

1. Identify and develop potential business areas and maintain professional relationship with existing and potential customers. This shall include provision of technical advice on customers' insurance need.
2. Review, accept and underwrite business within Risk Acceptance Authority and guidelines including claim matters, recommendations on wordings and liaison with MSI Japan, MSIG Asia, overseas Business Units and reinsurers.

Others

1. To participate at company level committees for ad-hoc projects to improve and expand Company's operations/ business.
2. Manage and implement proper credit control procedures and bad debt recovery.
3. To review and improve the Department's operation/ business.
4. To undertake any other duties as may be assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Handle corporate secretarial duties for the subsidiaries and associated companies.
• Handling the full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties for our clients, including but not limited to company incorporations, striking off of companies, and preparation of directors' and shareholders' resolutions.
• Preparation of Corporate Secretarial documents and biz-filing of documents
• Ensuring compliance per relevant statutory requirements, maintenance of statutory registers, and submission of statutory returns.
• Handling and managing a portfolio of clients, liaison, and follow-up with clients
• Ensure timely filing of ACRA filings and other relevant regulatory documents.
• Coordinate and assist with the conduct of Board Meetings, Board Committee Meetings, Annual General Meetings.
• Assist with preparing resolutions, board agendas, board papers, and maintaining statutory records to ensure all records are up-to-date.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Assist with the preparation of Annual Reports.

Requirements:

• Degree in Corporate Secretarial Studies / Law / or other related disciplines.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in corporate secretarial matters gained from law firms or corporate service providers.
• Familiar with Companies Act, SGX Listing Manual, Code of Corporate Governance and guidelines and commercial practices.
• Conversant with ACRA filing and SGXNET.
• Familiarity with Diligent and Viewpoint platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, sharepoint and document management.
